Halloween Patch Release Date
Added 2019-11-13 04:54:29 +0000 UTCFirst of all, sorry for dropping it so "on top" of the day but considering the theme and what we had to build for this patch I didn't have the slightest idea when to announce it.
The original plan was actually in the Halloween and it certainly seemed like we were gonna do it earlier in the month but as the month kept going and we were starting to draw the harder characters like the orcs and the furries, it became pretty obvious that it wasn't going to happen.
Our second ETA was to release this Friday the 15th but sadly, some recurring health issues on my part and a few issues with Issac's pregnant wife made us skip a few work days almost entirely. Usually I power through those but last month I got a very dire warning from life to put my health first so, at least in the near future I'm gonna have to do that.
As such, Friday the 22nd will be the release date for our Halloween patch, the first of three!
All the previews are now available on Discord with the last two just being release. A couple more busts, a little writing and fitting here and there and soon you'll be able to fully enjoy this unique experience, a lot different from anything we've seen in Fleeting Iris so far.
We're super excited to see how you guys will react to the patch, it's gonna be out really really soon.

And the reason why we don't show "a little progress" is because of the theme of this patch. Usually we don't mind releasing previews of maps, new menus, etc. but it's the Halloween patch which map wise and what not is already small since is the first out of three and we had to create a bunch of assets (busts) for it. If I go and show the new menu, new songs and new maps, along with the new busts and hentai scenes which I already spoiled, there will be nothing new to check once the patch is out since the "story" is irrelevant in the bigger picture. The reason why it was shown only on Discord is because we do NOT spoil our Patrons, we give them a chance to go on Discord and choose to check those or not on their own. Been our policy for a long time and it will stay that way until Patreon allows us to post pictures with Spoiler tag or Spoiler posts. That and pins have been requested for ages.

Our Patrons know that for minor things they have Discord, and for very minor and trivial things, there's Twitter which is public access. It's not that we don't want to keep people updated or in the dark about what's happening. We just don't want to "hey guys, we're alive, nothing changed". Patch still planned to go on Friday. Still having health issues and my exams will only be December 3. Still super busy trying to get the game ready to be on Steam. Still having to deal with a lot of paperwork and bureaucracy in real life to deal with taxes and what not. Nothing's changed and nothing's interesting. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You have a great job on your hands so make your patreons know you're fine and game progress, if you just show a little progress maybe you dont lost some collaborators. =/
