Sorry for the delay. Game comes out today no mater what.

I'm just giving a more official announcement to add to what Ryuuzenmaru already said in the announcement below. Yes, it will come out today, for sure. Not an estimate. Not a release date we're "trying to meet". We're almost done.

To explain what happened I'll use a message I've given on Discord to one of our Patrons to explain why the delays.

The biggest reason why these delays happen has been thoroughly discussed internally this month and we have taken measures to make sure it doesn't happen again in the Christmas patch because personally, I don't want to work on Christmas eve, Christmas and New-Year like the last two years.

No one gets as annoyed by these delays as I do. I want to believe this is the last time because of the way this was discussed but we obviously can't promise that. Usually the delays are no longer than 24 hours and haven't been for over a year. We work as hard as we can to meet our estimated dates of release so our followers know when they should expect the patch. Missing the date by less than 24 hours is infinitely better in my eyes than saying "soon" indefinitely.

The reason why this delay was bigger than usual is that some of the mechanics we're introducing this patch and new scripts went haywire when bug testing and it really threw us off.

This was the script we were planning to add this patch but sadly, we just won't be able to fix it in time:

Sex appeal, experience and emotional chemistry would change throughout the story. And it will! We haven't given up on adding the script to the game, we just don't have enough time to troubleshoot it any longer for this patch.

Also, there's the save script stuff but we're more and more convinced that the issue is just on my side and windows 10. Not the game.

Now. These bugs wouldn't be as much of a problem if I didn't take 3 days off like I said I was going to do as we would've detected this much sooner and start fixing it much sooner. The second delay is ENTIRELY my fault as I could've prevented the delay further, but again, come on... I haven't taken a break for 2 years. I took a break for my girlfriend's birthday and halloween. 3 days... is that so bad in the big picture?

Haven't we always ending up delivered as promised?  We've been at it for 3 years and we always come through. I know some of you, the large majority of you support us unconditionally and our fan base is strong. We LOVE you guys. But to the people that are new here. Have some faith ;)

OH! And not to feel like we're tricking people into supporting us when they have to pick the months they can afford supporting us. Anyone that was a Patreon last month will get the patch regardless if they stopped supporting us or lowered their tier below 10$! Just send us a message post-release.
