Early 6/24 Update!

So this weekend is going to be pretty busy for me, I have to play two gigs with my band on both Friday and Saturday, so I thought I'd give you your weekly update a day early! Hopefully you don't mind ;) Also if I don't respond to messages or comments for the next couple of days, that's why. Just figured I'd let you know.
Anyway let's talk news! First the Patreon Hangout. Unfortunately my Friday isn't as open as I first thought it was, which means the hangout will have to be Monday the 27th, which is only 4 days away! Sorry for the short notice, but sadly this month is a bit wonky and no other day will do. To make up for this I'm going to extend the hangout, from noon till midnight CST. Hopefully this should give everyone, including my overseas British fans, a chance to hang out and duel for a bit. I'll post the Discord link the day of, and whoever is interested feel free to hop on at any point you're free :)
With that out of the way let's talk actual updates.
First the Deck Build Challenge! This week it's going to be a level 1 monster challenge featuring a brand new co-host: Necromanticer! He's a long time fan of the show, Patron, and Let's Player himself; and I'm proud to showcase his premier episode. If all goes well he should become a frequent co-host, and pave the way for other patrons to co-host the show as well!
Next up is the What a Deck, and it's more 5Ds era synchros with Red Dragon Archfiend Turbo! As always the deck files, sleeves, and negation are in the zip file.
Finally there's Legsplay. For those of you who have no interest in the current series Chronology, fear not! It comes to an end on Monday with the 5th episode, making way for the newest game I've ever played on the channel: Overwatch! Which I will be playing sans co-host for the rest of that week.

2016-06-26 05:10:25 +0000 UTCagreed, well i tend to not shut up much when [p-laying a game around other people, versus being silent when i play alone, so i have a pretty good feeling there won't be a lack of commentary from my end xD. we would have to work out scheduling and stuff though, and there are likely many better people more qualified then me. i build decks based on themes forfun anyways, so shouldn't be that hard to quickly build a deck for the challenge, whatever it is. also, nice to hear you have a way to pay the bills you actually enjoy

Although they just play covers and stuff, it helps to pay the bills without being at fast food, can just be a little chaotic with scheduling sometimes. As for being on the DBC, we shall see. A lot of people have trouble playing to an audience, especially if they haven't done it before. The plan is to get a backlog made, then I can record guest episodes and if they turn out mediocre then I can just scrap them and pull an episode from the backlog to replace it without missing a week or putting out 'meh' episodes. Give me a few months to get things squared away and if all goes well everyone who wants to co-host should get a chance :)

2016-06-24 03:14:20 +0000 UTCProbably, it depends how early trial runs go, and how much of a backlog I get. If I can get a reserve of episodes built up then I can film guest co-hosts, and if they turn out terrible then I can just scrap the episodes and pull one from the archives.
