3-19 Update

Included are the files for this week's What a Deck, only a few hours early but still early! This week it's something I call Mirror Force Grind, a weird little stall deck with a whole bunch of mirror forces.
As for Legsplay next week will see the finale of Lisa and a continuation of Pokemon Zeta! So lots of sadness and joy to look forward to.
The Deck Exchange for next week is Turbo Timaeus Knights vs. Gravekeeper Defense Burn; which is as weird as it sounds.
That's it for now I think, I plan to update the Patreon a bunch here in the next few days, mostly to change our goals, a lot of them such as getting a video camera and new microphones have already been met due to the help of superstar tusk knuckler MillionLittleE, which means a re-evaluation of our goals and how we can use patreon to meet those goals. Expect some polls in the near future.

2016-03-20 21:56:41 +0000 UTCTrue that Yugioh isn't solely about winning, but winning is part of the fun; if you have no chance to win then then it's difficult to have any fun. With the What A Deck the fun comes from a combination of winning and creative strategies, the more creative the deck is the less it has to win, that's why I'm fine with decks like Last Warrior's Wild Ride and Aimless James' Dreadsythe Turbo deck that don't win much but have interesting strategies, when they do win it's awesome to see the strange combos work. The reason I don't play my Stardust or Speedroid decks is because not only do they not win, but they are really basic and uninteresting. The Speedroid deck in particular is just the same two plays over and over, get out red-eyed dice, synch for 5-7; it wasn't creative nor did it win, so I had no interest in showing it off.

2016-03-20 21:12:04 +0000 UTCno problem, anytime :). yah i downloaded it and added it to my list of decks. queston though, why do you cut out decks for what a deck at all? its not like we expect you to make super viable powerful decks that go 7/3 all the time, more about fun and creativity, and well showing off things that are rarely shown off. i would have liked to have seen that all stardust deck or that all speedroid deck you made :/. yugioh is not supposed to be about winning.
