When are systems and intersystems? 2) when are we due for parameter testing? Pretty sure it was happening once a quarter in books 1 and 2, viv was out for a month but seems like she’s pretty recovered at this point so I’m not sure how long it’s been but they’ve gotta be getting close 3) have the second and third years gone to globals yet and if not when? I feel like we’re running out of time for the year to fit in 3 more tournaments before the school year is over 4) Did we ever find out if Sarah was single. The Catchers of the world need to know

2025-09-12 16:00:02 +0000 UTCShido has shown signs of being aware of Rei's training or combat time. Giving him evaluations/upgrades at the best time compared to the traditional CAD. Shido listening in on the conversation with General Laurent makes sense, especially with Viv getting her Shard that very same night. I would say if the whole school transfer threat or the tournaments never getting brought up, Viv would have had an evolution comparable to Aria's or Catcher/Chancery.

I think her helping Catcher out will be big for Rei seeing her character. She is not going to take anything from Sidorov. She will be like look dude, I waxed the floor with you before don’t make me do it again.

2025-09-08 05:20:36 +0000 UTCI’m excited to see more of Sarah, when she was first mentioned in book two I thought her ‘im soo gonna kill him’ was aimed at Rei and she was going to be another villain. However, now I don’t think so, I think a good way to bridge her and Reis gap would be when sidorov is released and then tried to approach/bully Sarah in the dining hall, since Rei and his gang already sit in the 2nd year area they get alerted to it and before Rei can even think he goes over to help his sister before any reason can enter his mind… by this point he wil, already have achieved his next evolution and either beats sidorov or him and Sarah do it together then when it’s done he turns to Sarah and says ‘we need to speak’ thus bridging the gap between him not wanting anything to do with his family but also being protective of them against all reason… I read an interesting comment about catch nickname being ‘crownbreaker’ and how he will defeat sidorov and ‘kings law’ but I think this can still be done even if rei defeats sidorov, it would prove that even the ‘weakest’ of fire song is better than most others.

That or Shido is going for something bizarre, which would definitly be a thing in this universe

Like she’s trying to project “oh what’s that over there? I definitely wasn’t tracking him that closely, nope not me either” when she absolutely was.

Just my two cents but the conversation should have played out a little more or it should’ve continued on with whatever Aria was looking at/thinking about.

An external would be nice, but a type shift update to Mauler mode, means he would have to learn a 3 type of fighting style. Brawler, saber, phalanx , now axe or hammer? That is completely different from sword combat. I don't see that, from book 2 references I would expect another user unique.

I was expecting so big evolution at the end of a match and a huge public reveal of something not seen in a first year cadet. I’m talking externals, or some new user unique ability . Bryce, you got me all excited, and then left me hanging like spaghetti! Maybe next chapter 🤣

It'll give him time to really train what he has now before throwing more at him and with everyone getting the shards it'll bring them together even more and probably throw some other crazy in the mix when they start discovering what the shards can do.
