It's a really good track! Totally open to doing more Chicano music. (dad)

The FrontRoom

I'm Back!! Miss watching you guys I'm so glad you Played Lighter shades of brown 🤎 it's definitely represents Chicano culture We love listening to oldies a lot of Chicano rappers love mixing oldies in there music. Definitely a summer Vibe. Hope to hear more Chicano music.

Veronica Estrell

Part of the reason Good Days sounds so lush and you hear complex melodies and sounds is Jacob Collier co-wrote and provided supporting vocals. He is a prodigy - one of the most talented musical humans of our generation

Chase Cannon

Some of my favorite albums were commercial flops, Kai's too I think. Artisitic and experimental you say? Okay, now I'm interested in checking it out. Thanks, Simira!

The FrontRoom

I agree with “Dad” here, this one was one of my favs. Who knew “spring” themed music was so healing and pleasant. I’ m glad to have been exposed to “The Rascals” as Iv’e never known the group name but I’m sure Ive heard their music. Thanks for playing my request of Minnie Riperton’s, “Les Fleur”. The entire “Come To My Garden” album is one of my fav albums, recorded when she was only 19/20. I recommend listening in ur free time. Recorded with an orchestra, not in the least commercial in any way and was not a commercial success but very artistic and experimental. Its very neosoul/ jazzy.

Simira

No not yet! (dad)

PC#67 Think you guys to react to these 2 female artists that are so talented but so so slept on ... Wicked Games or Ex by Kiana Lede Options or When your ready by Justine Skye

Senitra Lane

Love those tracks. Saw The Fifth Dimension in concert in 1971 or 72, if you can believe that! (dad)

The FrontRoom

Corrine Bailey Rae is a dream. Also, I can't reminder, did you have a Cannibas themed reaction yet?

Shaquea White

The Minnie Riperton song makes me think of 5th Dimension. You should review Aquarius=Let the Sunshine In and while watching the extended video. I think it's actually 2 songs.

Shaquea White

You mentioned Corrine Bailey Rae reminded you of Cleo Sol. They are both British artist. There are some amazing rb/neo sol coming out of the UK. Maybe a future People’s Choice theme?

Precious

Love him!

Precious

Elmiene - Sweetness or Crystal Tears

Adrienne

Dionne Farris - I Know What Your Doing. She's the vocalist from Arrested Development.

You guys were spot on for Mornin' by Al Jarreau. If you watch the video he is walking down the street in a "perfect" cartoon-type world.

Caeldo

PC# 67: Bobby McFerrin - The Garden Troop - Spread My Wings

djhyjak

Bukowski - Modest Mouse

Jiminy

Oh to be in a jacket, outside, in May! Lovely garden, guys. For PC 67, I suggest Durand Bernarr's live performance of "Completed" on A Colors Show. The live recording is available on Spotify, but the video performance is what I'm suggesting.

Brenda T.

People’s Choice #67 Digital Love - Daft Punk This woman’s work - Maxwell Angel of mine - Monica Missing you - Case

Cher-rell

Corrine is an extremely talented artist that I think you would enjoy exploring her catalogue. I would play her first album over and over in college. Someone suggested it last week-Put Your Record On” was a huge commercial pop hit from that first album that you might like..…She has toured with Stevie Wonder and Lionel Ritchie so she’s pretty huge.

Precious

Thanks for choosing my suggestion. ‘Green Aphrodisiac’ is essentially about oneness with nature and oneness with your partner. How nature and love can be healing and uplifting and both can make you feel more alive and connected.

Precious

Thanks for sharing more of your backyard. It’s stunning! Enjoyed that you both included personal choices for this week’s theme. ‘Brother Tree’ was great and I have always liked ‘Good Days’.. Really liked the ‘On A Sunday Afternoon’ track.

Precious

All of the songs in this selection were magical!! They make me want to go for a nice walk in the park, but it's 11 p.m. in Cali, so I go to bed with Corrine Bailey Rae playing in my head.💚

Kim P
