PC #66-Songs of Spring Corrine Bailey Rae-Green Aphrodisiac (Most of her music evokes the feeling of spring but this song is literally about spring) Weldon Irvine-Morning Sunrise

So glad that u did Aesop , he can seen complex but in recent years he become more digestable but at the same time still extremly creative and lyrical , he also makes his beats (like one in Checkers) , his new album is coming on May 30th it would be dope if u guys can check it out

Adam Unierzyski

I just recently stumbled upon your videos, and you are wearing Hull City shirts thats my local football club wtfff head is blown what a small world

Bradley Butler

I recall that the very first supergroup, or at least that I know of, was Blind Faith, from 1969, which consisted of Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Ginger Baker and a few others. A lot of hype when they formed but overall a bit of a disappointment. Their best song was Can't Find My Way Home, which is definitely worth a listen. (dad)

This was dope. Aesop's an OG Rap Master. Here's a couple digestible tracks from him (and super funny) "Time Moves Differently Here" & "Oh Fudge" Also, him and Lupe jumped on a crazy single "Pumpkin Seeds" (wish Kendrick was on there too) Cheers

Check Mate

Great PC!! Glad you enjoyed Yebba. She has a great Tiny Desk if you want to check it out.

Precious

LOVE Electric Feel!! The group actually created the song as a joke but it ended up being a HUGE hit.

Precious

dad has GOT to hear Yebba’s tiny desk

Kai, Lucy Pearl is R & B. It definitely is. I notice that a lot of people in your age group get confused about what r&b is. I'm not sure why. It seems that there is one particular sound tied to a role period that younger generations get stuck as being r&b but just like rap, changes and evolves over the years, so did/does r&b. And YES this was a big hit. This was a good feeling summer song. I use to love playing this is the car, windows down headed somewhere to have fun. Also the members off the group came from other very successful groups. They had a built in audience. This was a super group. Rather then list some of the popular super groups, I would say Google it. Wiki has a page listed all super groups and their members and what groups they came from. This would probably be a good idea as theme as well. Looking at the wiki page, I was surprised to learn that super groups been around since the 60s. I thought it was a new thing started on the late 90s early 2000's. One of my favorite was LSG, which had Gerald Leverr from Levert, Johnny Gill from New Edition and Keith Sweat who was a huge solo artist from the late 90s. Then there was The Firm... you might like them. You really should consider a super group theme

PC 66 De Le Soul - A Roller Skating Jam Named "Saturdays"

The Wale fan in me wants to suggest a Wale song just because, but I'll wait for the next open theme. I have a song in mind that features Curren$y and the are both trying to show off their ability, but not in a Jay Electronica kind of way lol.

ficy

It's a great song. SO many artists have covered it. I REALLY like Frank Ocean's interpretation of it called "Nature Feels".

Tnulb

I have NO IDEA when or why I heard that 1st Electric song but I would've sworn that I never heard of MGMT or anything they ever made but it immediately came back to me & I was singing along LOL LOL ❤️❤️Lotus Flower Bomb❤️❤️!!!

Felicia Wiggins

Metro Boomin' comes up alot speaking of producers.. DJ Khalid & Timbaland come to mind for me quickly as popular but versatile guys who kinda market themselves as artists like Kai said. Their music covers hip-hop/pop with very distinctive, recognizable 'tags' across the genres without becoming stale.. Also, even tho he was done in memorial, gotta include Quincy as a produced spotlight episode alongside Babyface & Pete Rock lol

PC66 Spring Songs: On A Sunday Afternoon - A Lighter Shade of Brown The song is a must play at a springtime barbecue. A lighter shade of brown is a very influential rap duo in the Chicano community.

Anthony Mendoza

PC 66: Come My Way - Saba ft. Krayzie Bone (Music Video Suggested with Lyrics for Dad) I hope this qualifies as "Spring" the video has a good representation of good vibes and positive thoughts. Hope yall like it 😃💚

Arinesha Jackson

Lucy Pearl was a group comprised of Raphael Saadiq from Toni Tony Tone, Dawn Robinson from EnVogue, and Ali Muhammad from Tribe Called Quest. I was a DJ back when this song came out and it definitely was one that was often requested.

Stephanie Patterson

PC 66: -"Blessed" Brett Dennen -"In Da Wind" Trick Daddy ft Cee Lo and Big Boi
