The FrontRoom

Black Men United consisted of almost all of the top male r&b singers and groups at the time, kinda like "We are the World". Proceeds from the song went to organizations the fought against black on black violence. You should check out the video or the live performance!

Jay Miller

That album is a under appreciated classic and would blow their minds.

I absolutely LOVE Sade. All of her songs are so beautiful and perfect but there's a very special place in my heart for "By Your Side". It just speaks to my soul. I would love so see what you guys feel about that one. GREAT PC! Thank you guys

Tnulb

Dad and Kai, you should definitely watch the video for U Will Know! You might recognize some of the artists. Also, this song was written by a D'Angelo!

Can you guys react to some Jhene Aiko please “when we love” would be a good start

A Brown

Please give a ❤️ to themes you think are good!

The FrontRoom

Yes! Definitely watch the video. There's a live performance at the American Music Awards. Queen Latifah introduced the performance.

LB CaliMommy

You two should check out Babyface's tiny desk concert.

LB CaliMommy

Mixtapes/Freestyles would be fun

Check Mate

Ficy above mentioned doing a producer spotlight and I love that idea. Babyface would be good to start with as he has such an extensive body of work (produced and/or written) that crosses many genres.

Without getting too deep into the beef lore Nas, AZ, Cormega and Mobb Deep all knew each other before they were all signed. Dad is officially a hip hop head.

For the theme: I’d like to see you review more music videos. That was great!

Kyesia Belle

BMU included a lot of great artists: Tevin Campbell, Gerald Levert, Joe, Brian McKnight, Toni Tony Toni, Usher, Oakley (Mint Condition) etc. The music was also arranged by D’Angelo. You should check out the video in your spare time.

Kyesia Belle

Dad, The Sweetest Taboo absolutely was a big hit at least in the US. Fun fact: Sade is a band and the lead singer goes by the name Sade Adu. She was born in Nigeria and raised in England. Kai is right, she is very elusive.

Robin

I really enjoyed the musical interlude 🔥❤️😊
