Roberta Flack's passing made me quite sad. Such an exceptional voice and a part of my youth, as I remember when Killing Me Softly ruled the air waves. The others were unfamiliar names to me before you, our patrons, recommended we listen to them. Sorry they are no longer with us. (dad)

The collective loss of Robert Flack, Angie Stone, Roy Ayers and DeWayne Wiggins (from Tony! Toni! Toné!) just hurts my spirit. They've all made such profound contributions to music as a whole and the genre in particular.
