I agree with Dad about the dramatic delivery for most songs because her pronunciation is so affected for many words, which I know to an extent is a function of her accent. I tried to get into her when everyone in college was obsessed but I can only take her in increments. Not to take away from her talent or gift which I acknowledge

2024-11-02 18:02:23 +0000 UTCi love Adele so the fact that you both find her kind of "meh" is hilarious to me. Since you're open to more maybe try Daydreamer from the same album 19. It's less dramatic, lol so may be more to your taste. It's not one of my favorites, I'm here for the drama, the belting, the swells, all of it, lol. I appreciate that while she might not be your taste you still recognize her emence talent.
