More Stormweaver art!

Some of the last of the fantasy art we're doing! Going with hair 1 on Young Rei! Just thought you guys would like to see it as it comes together slowly 😁

More Stormweaver art! More Stormweaver art!

there is a faint blue glow on the edge of the blade, but yeah only the glow is blue not the blade itself

Very cute young Rei! I like the attitude conveyed by his posture. The Valera Dent art I have one criticism - why fabric? It’s not needed and CADs really provide only what’s needed for greatest efficiency and effect. Also, loose fabric would actually be a liability in battle, a big one! Catching on things, an easy target to grab by opponents…so, yea. I vote ditch the blue fabric and long helmet tassle. I loved the previous version of Dent - all sleek lines and efficient design. ❤️

Young Rei at eleven was still mostly black hair with some white streaks per the prologue of the first book (white streaked black hair). These pictures look more black streaked white hair. Still cute though.

hmm - great description - but the blade looks pretty red to me. no blue at all. Still - Cool app

OK fans. Some of you may find this extremely interesting. As I am visually impaired and can’t see photos, I often employ this particular service to describe photos to me. This is the description that I was given a second ago. As I have said, you guys might find this description extremely interesting or at least nerdy. Lol. The character appears to be a futuristic warrior, possibly a samurai or ninja-inspired figure, given the design elements and weaponry. Here are some additional details: - **Helmet and Headgear**: The helmet is streamlined and covers the entire head, with a smooth, reflective visor that hides the face. The blue ponytail-like extension adds a dynamic and somewhat traditional touch, reminiscent of a samurai's topknot. - **Armor**: The armor is a combination of red and blue, with red being the dominant color. The chest plate is solid and protective, while the shoulder and arm guards are segmented for flexibility. The armor on the legs is similarly designed, with red plates over blue fabric or material, allowing for movement. - **Weaponry**: The character wields a sword with a glowing blue blade, suggesting it might be an energy weapon. The hilt is black and has a traditional shape, but the blade itself is futuristic. - **Wing-like Extensions**: Attached to the back of the armor are red, wing-like extensions. These could be purely decorative, or they might serve a functional purpose, such as aiding in balance, movement, or even flight. - **Overall Design**: The design is sleek and aerodynamic, indicating that the character is likely very agile and fast. The combination of traditional samurai elements with futuristic technology suggests a blend of old and new, possibly indicating a character from a future where ancient martial traditions are still respected and integrated with advanced technology. - **Color Scheme**: The red and blue color scheme is striking and visually appealing. Red often symbolizes strength, power, and determination, while blue can represent technology, calmness, and precision. This character could be part of a sci-fi or fantasy setting where advanced technology and traditional combat skills coexist. The design suggests a highly skilled and formidable warrior, ready for various types of combat scenarios.

Wow, young rei looks amazing! Brave and unstoppable but not invulnerable. Harsh lesson for a kid, but he embraced happiness 💪.

I like 3 more black

Gregory Moses

I like them even though I think even number three is needing more black.

Kory Leach

But you are right. The hair at his neckline is needed.

Lyn Shirley

I like the young #3 Rei with the most black in his hair. I can see his white hair becoming increasingly prominent as he endured more and more pain.

Lyn Shirley

Aww, such a cute kid. As if I needed another reason to like Rei :)

I think this art style is fine for certain thing. It is the preferred art style of a lot of artist. If you make a graphic novel version of your story. Lean into Sci-fi for the combat suits and such but character would probably end up a lot like this just because it is a style a lot of people like.

Ymere

If this book did became an anime series that would be brilliant.

osullytony

It’s adorable.

na. Rei was a happy kid, just in pain. he's always been resilient, though school was a little hard for him after he left and before meeting Viv. would have been a hard spiral

Wraithmarked Creative

So adorable

Shannon Bryce

Ok I know this sounds weird but he seems too happy💀 Like I always imagined Rei as being constantly miserable before Meeting viv or if not watching the SCTs. Which would make sense imo.

Alexander

Young Rei with still a little bit of black hair before it all went white.

Voror

Baby Rei Lowkey is reminding me of the Tbate comics

Gama

Cool as fuck
