Thanks for reacting to Bahamadia. Maybe on your down time you can listen to more of her music. She's really talented and unrated. She's one of the ones that should have had more recognition. Kai she is on Spotify.

Zina

KRS-ONE with other featured artists- Self destruction. In 1988 KRS-One form a group called the Stop the violence movement and this is the only song the group made. The song was inspired by the death of a young fan and DJScott LA Rock who was a foundling member of BDP. Watch the video with the song.

So happy to see you guys react to K-Rino!!!! Such an amazing story teller. He really takes every song to a different realm. What a beautiful connection dad made to dementia. As many times as I’ve listened to that song, I’ve never thought of it that way. Now that he’s said it, it just added a layer of depth to the song. Also, so excited to know you guys will be reacting to pray for me by Joe!! Some other K-Rino suggestions The session Valley of decision The man in the mask Deprogrammed

Izzy

It would be cool if you guys do a video reaction to K-pop group NCT U- the 7th Sense and then you can look for and go over the English lyrics translation. It can even be a Patreon exclusive 🙏🏾❤️

WaterLord Jaz

ProRenae

Clear Blue skies by Juggaknots is a certified underground classic. The song describes how a white guy gets kicked out of his home by his father because of dating a black woman, and the entire song is rapping trying to understand his father's bigotry. The beat is truly beautiful and melancholic and the words fit the song so well and it's just so amazing.

Theo Holmgren

Another great episode guys. Thanks. Our two suggestions for next week are. Morray - Quicksand Mozzy - I'm a gangster

Richard and Raya

Swollen Members - Bring It Home. From 1996 to 2016, Swollen Members were the second best-selling Canadian hip hop artist in Canada (behind Drake) and were the best-selling Canadian hip hop group in Canada.

Ziomek Young

Tricky - Hell Is 'Round The Corner, an eerie, yet soothing. Reflective and somber tune

ERIK

I would suggest Moment of Truth as well. Kind of a different sound from the late 90s with deep lyrics.

Alex Alt

Air - La Femme D'Argent

André Monteiro

Marley Marl - the Symphony (a legendary posse cut from the 80's) The Brand New Heavies - Stay This Way (a great Acid Jazz group from the 90s) Can't wait for Fridays

djhyjak

How about some Canadian experimental soul: -Chiiild "Gone" ...and something in a similar vein: -Cautious Clay "Cold War"

Tnulb

Take it personal by Gang starr would be very interesting! Early 90s DJ Premier and Guru, great song with a uniquie simplistic but drivin beat.

Theo Holmgren

Stay safe on those roads, Ficy! - dad

The FrontRoom

I loved hearing dad singing this 🎶

Adrienne

Dad was spot on with Where is the Love! 1972, Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway.

Kenysha

Just added K-Rino to my playlist. Wow

Tnulb

Dad would love this! The South got something to say!

Kenysha

Ok I lied I do hand a suggestion for next week. Lil B feat. Jean Grae and Phonte - Base For Your Face. It's produced by 9th Wonder. How based is Dad?

ficy

I started a new job ac few months ago and there's a lot of driving. This is also my highlight of the week I'm those long drives. For suggestions I'm gonna suggest a podcast for personal enjoyment and a album review for later. Brooklyns Finest: The Making of Reasonable Doubt. They don't really to Jay Z, but they get producers and other people directly involved with making the album. 88 Keys - The Death of Adam. It's a concept album with a lot of notable features. The album was executive produced by Kanye. And my name rhymes with icy so y'all got it right.

ficy

Great video I want to highly recommend a moment in time by the Pharcyde

Anthony Mendoza

Following Nate Dogg with the laidback boardwalk music, listen to Summertime in the LBC by the Dove Shack (Explicit version)! 👌

Cass Chad

The Dove Shack - Summertime in The LBC 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Also - Jackers - I Can’t Fix It 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Htx_Screwww

One song on the top of my list for pops. International players anthem. Thank you gentlemen.

Alfredo Hernandez

If you guys haven't seen the Run The Jewels "Tiny Desk Concert" yet, you're in for a treat. Brilliantly powerful yet funny lyrics over banging beats and the energy/chemistry between El-P and Killer Mike is just infectious 👊🏽🔫

Alexander J Zerin

Beautiful ass songs

Marco

I need to hear them do “anniversary” or “lovin you” by Tony! Toni! Toné!

Marco

Can We Talk or I'm Ready by Tevin Campbell. I think he was around 17 when this released. Amazing range to have been so young.

Kenysha

Jodeci - Cry for You Lauren Hill featuring D’Angelo - Nothing Even Matters

Adrienne
