I also want to add I'm not sure how much you guys would appreciate it because you didn't see it's effects in real time. The transition from what r&b was in the 2000s to something like this in 2012. This sound was something so different back then. Vocals are a big thing in r&b and he still had great vocals but all the electrical guitar, genre mixing, and the modern vibe. It was everything. Kaleidoscope Dream and Channel Orange brought in the new era of r&b.

It’s considered the greatest album of all time by Rolling Stones magazine and I couldn’t agree more. It has a very strong message that definitely applies to modern day issues.
