The rapper Rick Ross is kinda like a method actor who got stuck in character. He does own some wing stops and owns a mansion with the biggest pool in the US. But most of the coke dealing stuff is theater. Kenni already pointed it out, but he adopts the character of real drug lord - Freeway Rick Ross, who tried to sue the rapper Rick Ross over using his name. Freeway Rick Ross had ties to Nicaraguans Cartels, and his distribution network coincided with the spread of the blood gang and the rise of crack cocaine use. He taught himself to read in prison and his story is interesting and there are conspiracies about the US gov turning a blind eye to what he was doing, or even perpetuating it, since the Nicaraguans he was buying the coke from were using that money to buy arms for contras, which the US supported, in their homeland. The Rapper Rick Ross was a prison guard.

The real Rick Ross has a amazing story, is a great guy and has been on Joe Rogan 2 times to tell his story and tell people to stop supporting the fake rick Ross.
