This song brings back a lot of memories of living in Harlem around that time. I had my first child and as living with my boyfriend at the time ( later became my husband)It sounds like Harlem...busy.

In a similar vein as this, Dad might really enjoy the classic "Passing Me By" by The Pharcyde

Please react to Joe Budden - “Pray for me” or “Devil in my room” I think either song is really worth drilling into. Thank you for your consideration!

Please REACT to Mariah Carey "The Roof" , it samples Mobb Deep!!! She really took a hip hop song and reinvented it into one of the greatest merges of pop/hip hop, Mariah Carey also wrote, produced, and sung her own background vocals , you and your dad would enjoy !!!

Another great Pete Rock produced track is “The Joy” by Kanye West and Jay-Z off the Watch The Throne album

SlumpJones

A tribe called quest, Gangstarr, Digable planets, the whole Native Tongue posse... So many jazzy gems in their catalogue in the early 90's

Great pick!! Love this song so much Dad you had a good point about the Jazz influence in 1992. Made me think of another "Jazzy" Hip Hop song you may like from 92. "Cool Like Dat" -Digable Planets- . You'll love it! Love the review guys. Still the only Channel I'm a Patron of

Hey guys. A Pete Rock produced song that I highly recommend is Respiration (Flying High Remix) by Black Star Feat. Black Thought. I mentioned the song when you did the live chat. It's both my favorite Black Star song and favorite Pete Rock production. I think you both would really enjoy it and it would be a great double reaction. If you do decide to give it a listen, look for a version on youtube that says [HQ]

That is very true. Any suggestions Loyan? I can make that happen for next week.
