One of the best raps ever created.

Thats awesome you have gotten in some Badu! Thanks for watching :) - Kai

The FrontRoom

Thats a good take

The FrontRoom

Those are some of the best Jay songs, definitely must do all three.

The FrontRoom

Yea, I think The Black Album is more consistently great! So if we do a Jay album sometime it will be that or Reasonable Doubt, first.

The FrontRoom

Thanks Matthew! Great to hear that feedback :)

The FrontRoom

The Black Album is so great. Has some of the greatest, most distinctive beats of all time: 99 Problems, Dirt Off Your Shoulder, Lucifer. Top 3 Jay.

The FrontRoom

He wasn’t wrong, 50 did do a freestyle to Till I Collapse lol

Kenydell Gaither

THANK YOU KAI! You guys did a great job covering this as usual. Its one of my all time favorites. I remember mentioning this to you after the "til I collapse" review and you actually responded to me saying it was a good idea and you were gunna put it on your list of upcoming songs. The fact that it actually happened makes the experience even better. You taking the time to actually read these comments and not only taking our suggestions seriously but also taking the time to interact with your listeners is one of the many things that separates you and your dad from the rest of the people doing reviews on YouTube. It really makes me feel like I'm not just a viewer but like im a part of what you and your dad so genuinely have created. I lost my dad when I was 11 and I would have done anything to be able to share something with him tge way you and your dad share these musical experiences together. Keep it up. I may not be able to have these moments with my dad but being able to live vicariously through you guys has been a joyous experience thus far. THANKS AGAIN. also I love the fact your dad recognized jay-z's whole purposely awkward delivery yet super impactful lyrically and wasn't eager to just dismiss his verses compared to eminems like most do. Although I get it, cause em's verses were flawless so I don't fault the people who do. But you hit it right on the head. Eminems verses clearly stand out when first hearing this song but as time goes on and the more you listen, you start to appreciate jays verses more and more. It had the same effect on me. Loved it as usual and I would love for you to do REASONABLE DOUBT. HANDS DOWN THE BEST RAP ALBUM OF ALL TIME FOR ME!

Robert

Also I discover some songs that may have not been on my radar. I listened to all the stuff that is posted here, but sometimes you show me a classic I forgot about or a classic (or modern) i should start listening to. Like Badu. 10/10 but I never knew about her.

Myspelled

If i wanted to listen to the song, I would go listen to it by itself. I don't mind yall talking a bit. I come here for the dynamic of two different generations enjoying and analyzing a song that one person or the other may have not given a chance to. Good video as always!

Myspelled

I think em was more a statement about him being controversial in the music industry wether that’s lyrics or being white in rap while jay was controversial about respect from his community wether his hood or the listener base having trouble connecting with a rich person that would never live in their hood because jay is stereotypical for rap he doesn’t have issues with the rap game like em would do I feel em comes of as more obvious in the controversy from a wider listening base. But I always liked jays verse better

9/11 and this album is definitely not a coincidence.. The world is a stage…. All I have to say is find the best angle of the plane hitting the towers (which may be a hard task because I’m sure they’ve tried to scrub it off of the internet, but I have it if you want me to send it) screen record it.. and put it in slow motion.. think about Hollywoods special effects when you watch… it will give you the answer to what happened. But anyway.. I haven’t looked at this Renegade video of yours yet.. I stopped to comment.. looking forward to your dads reaction to this.. great pick.. and off I go

RedOctober

I always thought Jay's bars were underrated on this. Em had a crazy flow, but this song is more up Em's alley, and Jay wasn't scared to get in there with him. I think they both killed it.... Try Can't Knock the Hustle, D'Evils, or Dead President II by Jay-Z

TommyBoi 3000

Man, this song is such a masterpiece - a classic for sure

K. Paz

Love the song and the reaction! Both artists flow on this are smooth, whilst I do think Em comes out on top, Jay is only a slither behind Em on the track. Also Kai, what do you think of the Black album?

Daniel Maynard

Rhyme schemes, insane flow, groundbreaking techniques, killer humour all wrapped in one track? Check R.A. The rugged man's Definition of a rap flow. Thank you.

Frederic La Comare

I love that dad called out it was going to be Eminem from the beginning. Also I personally love the banter between you both! It’s not just about the music but what you both think and feel towards it too!

Matthew Lozada

Love the reaction, it’d be great to see you guys do The Black Album or the whole Blueprint album since you’ve already done Song Cry and Renegade but I agree Kai, there are a few iffy songs on the Blueprint lol
