Paripi Koumei Draft
Added 2022-09-12 16:32:31 +0000 UTCHi everyone, here's the (almost final) draft on the Paripi Koumei video. I'm trying to re-record a section where I mistakenly say "1943" instead of "1942," but the audio keeps sounding different from the rest of the speech. I'll try and give it another go, but so far it might just be a situation where I would leave a note or something.
I don't know if anyone missed it last time, but if you have any questions for me to answer on the Patreon video, please respond to this post here and I'll record answers. I'll get this and the addendum videos I need to work on captioned as well, so hopefully it'll be done by the end of this week and then I can get started on the Persona 4 video.

After a rewatch I have a couple: (1.) I might have missed it, but what was the context for the Song Dynasty's adaptation of the records? You mentioned there was a dispute as to who has the right to rule, but what's the context for that dispute? (2.) This one might be a little frivolous, but why did Kongming have such appeal in Japan, and not someone from Japan's own history? The Sengoku seems like an apt analog, and Toyotomi Hideyoshi for Kongming. But I guess that asses it's a matter of mutual exclusivity... do those make sense?
