I agree. They are training for war. They should've fought clean and smart. Theatrics and emotions have no business in a fight like this. Grant should've finished him. That said, Logan seems just as socially immature as aria. Fits his character I suppose, but such actions shouldn't be done by military personal.

I am guessing that Reese will be mad (ok, that part is hardly an insightful guess), and be mad that the team did not bring their full strength to bear, and "gave the opponents a chance" and mad at Rei in particular for being Rei, while Dent will be happy at the improvisation and creative use of the conditions, and that the team got a little experience of fighting in a sub-optimal state.

He just has always had to use witty comments to tie up his bully and make them seem like an ass by using words. Now that he has the strength, it is totally in his personality for him to defend his pride. It’s something that he has always done

Biggs definitely deserved the being put in his place, though. And since the match wasn't called, clearly the adjudicators didn't think anything wrong, even if the verbal taunting is supposed to be bad form.
