EXCLUSIVE: Masta Ace - Da Grind

MASTA ACE! What a beautiful story teller. From the handful of songs I've heard from Masta I can tell he has a great ear for beat selection - they perfectly compliment his style. This is my favourite Masta Ace song as of now, but I'm sure there are dozens of gem's throughout his prolific career. Any other Masta Ace songs we need to do?

Have a lovely day everyone!

Kai

We're very sorry, Michael. We are having some difficulties with a few of our older uploads and we will be looking into it over the next few days. I want to thank you for your patience as we try to figure out what's wrong. (Kai's dad)

The video doesn't work for me?

NOTICED THAT KAI MENTIONED "KHRYSIS" ON THE PRODUCTION. HE IS APART OF A RAP COLLECTIVE "JUSTUS LEAGUE" ALONG WITH ANOTHER SUPER PRODUCER "9TH WONDER". THESE 2 ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PURE SOUND OF HIP HOP THAT'S HEARD ON THESE 2 UNDERATED CLASSIC ALBUMS BY THE HIGHLY REGUARDED BUT UNDERATED HIP HOP GROUP- LITTLE BROTHER: "THE LISTENING" & "THE MINSTREL SHOW". KAI, CHECK THESE OUT FOR SURE; YOU WILL THANK ME LATER!✌

Slaughta house is an hidden gem. Disposable Arts is a master piece, concept album. A long hot summer is another classic, concept album too (prequel to disposable arts).

The Masta Ace albums 'Disposable Arts' and 'A Long Hot Summer' are both good listens -- similar in that they're both kind of concept albums in a way as each tells a broad story with the songs/skits linking together. I'd recommend songs 'Beautiful', 'Take a Walk', or 'Born to Roll' if you want to take it old school. 'Soda and Soap' is also cool (hint: the title of the song is important to keep in mind as you listen). I'll stop before naming another 25 songs.

Great reaction, great album too, been a while since I heard it but it's one you can listen to all the way through and enjoy every track. He's very underated in a sense, as is the theme of the album somewhat if I remember correctly.
