Hey Shawn! Hope you're doing well. Thanks for all of the record suggestions too. I have been meaning to listen to Goodie Mob for the longest time but have never gotten around to it. I just downloaded their first album on Spotify, based on your recommendation, so I don't forget. And just taking a look at the tracklist... ANDRE 3K & BIG BOI? ON SEPARATE TRACKS? I cannot wait to listen to those. Also, thanks for sharing that story of selling those bootlegs, that is an awesome memory! I also just downloaded the cover for Kingpin Skinny Pimp's album - the cover is wicked. I also just listened to a track from Syl Johnson, and man... I gotta get into more of his stuff now. Let me know what you think of Sun Kil Moon! Totally different from anything you mentioned, but his writing is brilliant, extremely cathartic, and introspective. But if it's not your cup of tea I totally get it :)

Peace and Blessings young man. I like the idea of a “weekly walk” man it’ll keep ur engagement up with ur audience and allow for some extra dialogue. That being said of course I have some for you haha. If u liked OutKast and Badu u should definitely check Goodie Mobs first two albums they are all part of the dungeon family and produced by organized noize and have that similar sound but a different feel. They also toured w Badu. Also I was pleasantly surprised when u said Mystic Stylez bro I’m from Tennessee and was a teenager out druggin and thuggin when that album dropped and it really is the definition of a Memphis classic! If ur taking suggestions on that typa music I really really gotta suggest u listen to Kingpin Skinny Pimps 1996 album called “King Of Da Playaz Ball” it was produced by Three 6 mafia and I dare say it is the best album to drop from that camp EVER. I actually used to bootleg copies of that album and sell them at school for $5 because it was so popular here😂 Also if u r looking for a sound that is somewhat between Three 6 and UGK I highly highly recommend listening to an album called “Piece of Mind” by a very slept on artist named Tela. It is my personal favorite southern rap album of all time. And that’s saying a lot. Lastly if u get a chance U should check out some soul music by Syl Johnson Man U will not be disappointed especially since I see u dig Gil Scott Heron .. Aight I gotta go check out this SunKillMoon now while I clock in at work bc I already heard the other two albums u suggested. Til next time ✌️
