I haven't! Just listened to "The Basement" and "Lost Arts" - really good. The former has a beat that really reminds me of Danny Brown. Really interesting use a vocal sample, similar in vibe, but by no means identical, to Danny's track "Lost" off of Atrocity Exhibition. I like it a lot! Flows real nice over a beat that isn't that easy to handle. "Lost Arts" I really like too! HIs delivery here reminds me of a Joey Badass and his rhyming style is similar to Mos Def: very commendable people to be compared to! Thanks for the suggestion, Phil :D

2022-09-01 17:49:36 +0000 UTCKai have you heard L'Orange & Solemn Brigham - Marlowe? Sleeper/hidden gem from the last few years, great album, very original. I'd describe it as MF Doom meets Kanye West. Give it a listen one day if you're looking for new albums, I think you might dig it. If you want a sample track from it try 'The Basement', I think they used that as a single kinda, made a video for it anyway.
