Transitioning over to "Specters of Anitube" style work?

I want to get an honest set of opinions - do y'all hate or don't like the talking head setup on the "Specters of Anitube" video? I can keep it in a pretty strict video-essay format, but if it's annoying or bothersome I switch back. The reason I'm asking is that I'm hoping to stitch together the video-essay and talking head format so it flows a bit better, but if you'd prefer to not see my ugly mug, I can keep it full video. Please see "Specters of Anitube" and its style if you're not sure what I'm referring to.
