Back in the 80s I saw the movie in a cinema. Was a strange new thing seeing a live concert not live but I loved it!

Even my mom says her favorite decade for music is the 80s - which obviously isn't her coming of age era. My best friend and I were just into anything that was weird. The weirder the better.. and where we lived, that wasn't quite cool yet. By 1987 some of the bands we loved would be more mainstream. Then we lost David Lynch this week - and I dispar that there are just no artists at that level to carry the torch. Maybe there are some in music I don't know about (I'm HORRIBLE at knowing who anyone is) but there sure isn't in film. I love these reactions. Thank you so much.
