Depeche Mode- Songs of Faith and Devotion FULL ALBUM REACTION AND REVIEW

Ah gotcha; thank you Larry!

Justin Paul

Just an FYI: Martin Gore sings One Caress. He usually has one ballad/slow song per album. BTW: I love your analysis of songs you actively listen to.

I love DM, this is my personal No. 1 album of theirs, it really impacted me so deeply... Dense, intense, moving, it touched me so strongly that to this day it remains one of my favorite albums of my life, Each song is special, nothing is left over or missing, perfect album.

Err, I like the fake plant (tho I liked it a bit more before you said it was fake) This whole album is undoubtedly top tier but "Rush".... I'd not heard that for a few years and I was thinking here how great it is and how I'd love to hear it in a club

Lovely BabyJanine

I like the Darumas best.

Saturninebear

Of the album, One Caress and In Your Room are my favourite songs. In your room, my favourite item... Hm, that's a tough one. The vinyl albums on the back wall? Or that little LED panel with the changing texts? Probably those! (Yes, I was paying attention ;-) ) BTW, the next album, Ultra, I think you'll like that album too. Exciter is, in my opinion, overall not so strong but Playing The Angle is another highlight that I think you will enjoy.

Happy B Day Jerke!

Justin Paul

I like Justin’s different lyric interpretation at times In your room, I would say that the toxic element could be a SM element

There are 2 singers… Judas and One caress are sung by the songwriter :). But admittedly both singers don’t differ a great deal

Mercy in you is my favorite. Especially the last cry ‘mercy in you!

This is a treat on my birthday. Excellent choice

Good to hear, I got that impression as soon as I started watching your channel! To me, the best parts of the internet music community are the friends I've made, along with discovering a lot of great music of course! I actually have a YT channel as well, haven't done anything with it recently but do plan to make a few videos soon. Similar to what you do, my main aim is to share the music I love with other people. If one other person finds something they like because of me, then I've accomplished my goal. https://youtube.com/@psychicvacuum555?si=cCGQ7v9zZHRQlpLg

I appreciate that a lot Erik :) I try to take a little slice of time each day and be around, whether its here, YT comments, the Discord. I want to be part of the community as much as anyone else

Justin Paul

No worries if you don't see this, I know it's impossible to keep up with everything. Just want to say I always appreciate you taking the time to engage with your viewers. A lot of content creators don't ever even try, you're a diamond in the rough my dude. It really does add that personal element that a lot of the internet-dependent world is lacking these days. In other words, keep doing what you're doing! I'm a bit of a hypocrite as I've had trouble keeping up lately and barely ever comment but I watch the majority of your videos and don't plan to stop any time soon. Thanks so much!

Nice Erik! Happy listening!

Justin Paul

Cool! I picked this up on CD recently but haven't spun it yet, looking forward to my first listen along with yours. Cheers 🤘🤘
