Speedrun Explained 43: Update 2; Speedrun Explained 44: Update 1

Hey all! Some exciting video news/updates for you all! Also, up front, I don't have any updates on the Patreon stuff I mentioned in the last update. May was a very busy month for the channel, and it's looking like June will be as well, so that's on the backburner until we're able to get a little more clearance with time available to work on things.

So the first exciting update is in regards to the main video in production right now, Elden Ring Any%. In my last update, I said that I was teaming up with seeker once more to cover the Any% Unrestricted category (the one with all the zips). Well, he and I were talking and have decided to turn the video into a double feature, where it will cover both the Any% Unrestricted and Any% Restricted runs both in one video. He and I just had our call going over the two runs this morning, and I'm writing the intro today for the video. This video will be out by the end of June.

The second exciting update is that after finishing up our video covering the BioShock Any% run, KPC and I had a conversation about potentially covering BioShock 2 since he holds the record in that (by over 7 minutes). We talked about the possibility of covering it in the future, but realized that our schedules wouldn't sync up much outside of the next month or two, so we decided to jump straight into doing BioShock 2 after the Elden Ring video! I hope you enjoyed the BioShock run because the BioShock 2 run is even wackier and has out-of-bounds that reminds me of DOOM (2016) and Eternal. July and August are busy months for me, and it's a longer run than usual for the channel, so I think that this video will likely be out in mid to late August. Very excited for it!
