sketch line comparison
Added 2018-04-02 21:01:15 +0000 UTCyo! this is from a commission I did last thursday. The client requested a "refined" sketch, which you've prolly seen me post before. Essentially paying a lil more to have me clean up and detail those messy sketch lines.
Here's a comparison for you of the before and after refinement
While the "refined sketch" option is no longer listed on my commission forms, its still an off menu type option. My sketching style has been varying a lot these days (at least that's how I feel) Sometimes a basic sketch winds up with clean "quick ink" type lines because I spend so much time trying to form the drawing, that it's quicker to then go over that sketch on a new layer, than try to clean up the mess with an eraser. And then sometimes a sketch comes together quickly and I can keep the more painterly lines without extra time/effort.
