4/5/2020 Update

It's April! Four months into 2020. It's been a ride. 

I'm staying home with my family right now, and the set up our town has is that every household will have one person go out for errands, like food and medicine. The current set date for the end of our quarantine is April 14 (set last March 13), but due to the rising number of cases in our country, this might be extended. I'm stuck at home until further notice, which unfortunately means I can't buy important stuff that my mom isn't familiar with (she doesn't like shopping for stuff she's not familiar with, and she's never been tech savvy), which sucks, but hopefully, we'll be able to open up again, or at least have looser restrictions because we have no cases in our city and we've closed off entry from other cities aside from essential deliveries. 

A few weeks ago, my CPU died and I was able to revive it, but I do need to replace a few parts permanently in order for it to live a little longer, until I can get a new one. I also need to change my laptop's OS because Linux is really unfriendly for what I usually produce and I can't take my work anywhere, but all the repair shops are closed right now. 

I'll still be able to do most of what I usually do, and I do feel motivated to hunker down and just create (we'll see how long this lasts), but I likely won't be able to do speedpaints for a long while, so I'm unfortunately going to have to take that off the $10 reward. 

The rest of the rewards will stay, though, and now that I have a lot more free time, I'll be able to post a lot more of the process of my projects. And as I've already finished one of my big joke projects - Teletubbies the Musical - I'm going to be focusing on my second joke project that I wrote alongside TtM last november - Who Killed Markiplier, but as a Vocaloid musical. I love using Vocaloid, and I love making music, and I love WKM, and my process has always been 'if it's fun, then it's fun', so I decided to start this project for the kicks. My target date for completion of the whole thing - music, art and video - is around October 11 or 13, but we'll see. It's 2020, we have no idea what's in store. 

Anyway, that's the update for now. Everybody remember to wash your hands, stay home if you can, be careful if you need to go out, and take care of yourself. We're living in harsh times. We don't need to be any harsher to ourselves.
