Thank you so much for all of your questions and comments!  I had a great time recording this for all of you, and look forward to the next one in May.

Check out Emma at WhispersRedASMR on YouTube for amazing traditional ASMR videos as well as a great demonstration of the 3DIO microphone.  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2nyigZS5YNDrCu_pih809w

Comments

First comment! :D Actually, fair warning, this is going to be long, as I really wanted to hit every point that struck me in your audio. So, on the intersection of ASMR - Erotica, I agree that it is something that can help people, just like "traditional" ASMR (which really can be broken down into its own sub-genres anyway (crinkles, whispers, etc.)) can touch people. We all have our own needs in life, and for some, it is a lack of intimacy in their lives. For others, its just a calming presence that they need. I will say however, there is erotic ASMR, and then there are those that just use sex to get clicks. And I definitely see where traditional ASMRtists take issue, because frankly, as a man, I find it insulting that some of these content creators (that I refuse to call artists) think that they can just shake their money makers in front of a camera to get views for a supposed ASMR channel. On mentioning all of the writings that you've created and destroyed, I think all writers go through a burn the world phase. I used to be more of a poetry and essay writer. But honestly, keeping most of the poetry I had either caused me too much pain of remembering past pain, or was just embarrassingly crap. I even wiped my blog a while back. I've only added a few entries since then, but I plan on getting that back going soon. I think the biggest thing in this burn the world mode is that we see how vulnerable we've left ourselves, and if we destroy it, its like putting up a wall. I think a lot of people are seeking the comfort, caring and intimacy that your work offers. Some people don't have a relationship to draw these things from. And some have healthy relationships, but I don't want to say there's something missing, but I think that everyone's soul yearns for something, and maybe this is their only source. A lot of institutions, especially in our culture, want to purge the sensuality out of our lives. But why would we have the desire for these pleasures if not to seek them out in a healthy way. Everything can be twisted to be bad, but this is an essential part of life. On the topic of latte ASMR, check out WhisperingRose ASMR's Ice Bucket Challenge video. I've not seen heard many people use ice and liquid to do ASMR, but she did really well. On keeping background noise to a minimum, I honestly wouldn't know you had to deal with it if you hadn't told me. Seeing your more recent posts, it looks like you're not far from getting the 3Dio, Can't wait to hear your voice through that! Also, WhisperRed Rock! Can you do an Amazon Wishlist without compromising your privacy? I hear you've got a b-day coming up... On being inspired by everything around you, do you ever get a sensory or emotional overload? I know that feeling of having all of this creative stuff bottled up that you can't get out, and yeah, after a while, it just fels like it dies inside of you. Recent motivation and acting on it has caused me to feel more alive than I have in a long while. The work you do in editing is very apparent, as I feel totally immersed in every one of your audios. Don't touch those tier names! :) I think I hit everything that mattered to me on this one. I basically just scribbled notes frantically during a play through, as I really want to give you as much feedback as possible.
