Wilted and parched by the blasting heat, the faithful arrive seeking succour.

The congregation swarms the upper decks, those that don't pass out on the way up that is. More collapse in the crush, the pressed bodies adding to the baking heat before the Sun reaches its zenith.

At High Noon, lead by the Head Priest, the chanting reaches its crescendo. If the Sun Lord is pleased, the fanaticism will be rewarded with ailments cured, sustenance, fortified spirits and the Desert's strength. If the Sun Lord is angered, the jackals and vultures will supp well.
