Breaking the Silence
Added 2023-08-31 10:29:49 +0000 UTCHeya, folks. It's been a while.
Studying is... not going great. I'm seriously considering dropping out of uni and finding a part time job or something... It's not that I don't like the topics I'm supposed to learn about, I just don't really function in the self-studying environment university lessons and exams are built around. That said, I'm going to try one more time with the last exam of the semester next Friday. I'm also signed up for another semester which I might use to look for employment. I already am a trained mechanic so I should have some decent options.
That much about my personal situation. Now, what you care about, my writing. I did some work on owl but the next chapter just doesn't want to flow. I have the one after the next finished, in fact and I'm looking forward to working more with the scene that one set up but the very next one is important for the lore so I need to get it done. I'll sit down and properly finish it after that last exam.
Then there's my Worm fanfic, Thirteen Pillars. I am working on chapter ten right now so expect a little more of that soon-ish. Not yet, I still need to edit it a bunch, but there will be more. Pokémon is on break until next Friday as well. But my brain had another stupid idea.
So I present you:
A second Worm fanfic I started earlier this week. It's a shorter comedic piece and about halfway done at a little over 12k words (I kinda see why I can't properly study for my exams, now). It's also a little freaky, so read at your own risk. I think they call it crack-fiction in the community? I also love the story idea itself and might do some world-building to turn it into an original fiction. If you think that might be a fun idea, feedback in that direction is very much appreciated.
Anyway, that's it from me. I'll have more for you guys in a little over a week. 8th of September is my next exam, after that I can write a lot more freely.
Good timezones, everyone.

Good luck with exams! Worm-type stories are a little too close to horror for my comfort, but I love what you did with the space whales!
