About the Manga

• Plot
  • We see a fancy mansion just as the doors are busted down by a big blue fist. A guy in a trench coat with short blond hair walks into a fancy dining room where a guy with long blond hair puts down a wine glass. 3 months earlier we see the long hair blond guy meeting with a man named mr Evans, where we learn that his name is, legitimately, Mr. Botha. Botha activates his stand and kills mr Evans. The blond trench coat guy, whose name is Thomas, walks towards a house where he’s attacked suddenly by a guy named Joseph with an electric stand.

  • They fight until a girl with the platonic ideal of a Rob liefeld body appears to stop them. Her name is May and she yells at him before hugging him because  WOMEN am I right? They then introduce Thomas to in no particular order, Alex Oliver, Jet fucking Lee, and Thomas’s old friend Azizi. That night may talks to Thomas about how both their dads died. That guy in the first part of the chapter was probably one of them. Joseph goes missing so they follow a dog named Chewie to find him. He’s in a pool of blood but it’s actually the blood that’s attacking them, and Joseph immediately gets his head ripped off.

  • May gets attacked after stepping on a twig, when she determines that it targets by sound. And then, sadly, everyone’s favorite character Alex gets his foot cut off. Azizi summons a mech which the blind enemy stand user says is called the Black Templar. Thomas helps them all get away before running after the bad guy himself, lead by Chewie.  The dog is immediately murdered because damn this really is Jojo, and the bad guy is killed by another bad guy who Thomas says is named Chibot. Chibot says Thomas passed the first test but there’s no more tests because this comic never had any more chapters.

Why it failed

• This art is…ok?
• I mean ultimately it’s a ripoff of part 3
• Why would you do white text
• Everything is so rushed like “I can tell you’re a stand user so lets fight”
• Oh 90s woman anatomy
• Flash forwards are so stupid because you now know the MC will be fine
• It literally does not describe anything about how stands work and it’s not interesting enough to get away with it all being infrared

What it did well

• What an explosive opening
• Gotta give credit for having a woman of color as a stand user
• Some stand designs are ok I guess?

Misc Thoughts

• Why would not! Dio have bodyguards taken out so easily
• True araki based with dog death
• The chibot scene had me dying with his like you old goof look on his face
