How i do Veins (CSP)
Added 2023-06-14 04:51:56 +0000 UTCSome people ask me how i do veins so i thought I'd make a Patreon post talkin about em; what i do on its own layer is take a flat white brush and activate "border effect" in layer properties, i set the pixel width on the edges to 1 to not make the line area too THICK. When you're doing this make sure you don't set the edge color to black, it makes it too dark, set the edge color close to white but not TOO close, this is because you wanna trace over it when you're done with the desired shape, but making it TOO white will make the shape harder to see. This is just a workaround i use because when you turn down the opacity on a layer it doesnt make the border effect and base layer lighter, it just makes the base layer without the effect lighter, so you get a weirdly darker vein pattern when you're drafting it out, just something to keep in mind. after this and when i make sure everything looks as i want it i trace over the pattern in the linework!
