SDA Version 4.1.1 Mini-Update Recording!

As I shared in my latest dev update video, Kerstyn is on a voice-acting hiatus. However, she was able to record some custom conversations for our 4.1.1 mini-update before her break! This update includes custom content requested between late October and February 21st. I'll be handling the editing myself this time, so please bear with me as I work through your requests.
On the development front, I'm focusing on finishing the Ashe Gameplay Preview video before diving into the full-release content of her questline. After that, it's all about casting calls, recording, editing, implementation, and testing!
Just to clarify, Kerstyn's hiatus will be about a year long, so the next major SDA update (4.2 Vigilant) is planned for 2025. This doesn't include smaller updates like 4.1.1 or bug fixes. I'll also explore using unused dialogue to provide some new Serana content while we wait. In the meantime, I'm putting my energy into Ashe, who will be as feature-rich as SDA. I'm also preparing for the Vigilant update behind the scenes, so when Kerstyn comes back its just a recording session then we'll basically be release-ready.

From when I was talking with Kerstyn, she very much intended to get back into voice acting, and SDA as an extension of that. She made this break in the first place due to burnout, as she had been doing VA non-stop since 2018-19 to my knowledge. She has been working on SDA since mid-2020. Hopefully her break is much shorter, but regardless of the duration, she very much does intend to get back into the thick of things.

2024-03-08 11:22:31 +0000 UTCSorry for being the one to say this but are you not worried about her abandoning the project. A year is a long time to not voice act. I don't know her personally but just had to ask. I'm loving the mod so I'm just hoping it doesn't happen like that.

While it might take around a year (fingers crossed for sooner!), rest assured, I'm committed to bringing those voiced interactions to life. Your patience and support mean the world to me, and I promise it'll be worth the wait!
