Serana Following Beside Player Proof of Concept

What if Serana actually could travel beside you???

I have done something I previously thought was nigh impossible lol

More testing and development is needed but this should serve as a decent proof of concept.  also just ignore the debug messages. they're really for me and you won't be bothered with them in regular gameplay. Some dialogue is unvoiced (that's cuz Kerstyn still has to voice it!)

There are limitations with it due to the janky follower AI system in Skyrim, so YMMV and the feature is a very much provided as is.

This is great idea but so far it doesn't really work, at least on xbox.

The spinning thing is something I'm aware of actually. I've already taken steps to mitigate it :) As for the dialogue itself, good suggestion. I'll keep it in mind. When there is an attack on the party, I have measures for that. Still needs more testing though. It was originally in the 'Serana Menu' because it's a follower package feature and Serana's main dialogue tree is already super bloated already.

Love the idea! Just some thoughts: a couple of modders have tried this before and run into these problems: * In first person when you turn to look at the partner, they walk away in the direction you turned, leading to a kind of 'spin dryer effect'. * When walking together, the partner never quite lines up and always stares at the player like there's a bug in his hair. * I have loved it when ambling through Skyrim together (I used to do it with Vilja). * The dialogue to get to Serana to walk beside could be less clunky - a simple 'Walk with me, love' or something might be better, and a hot key to start and stop the process. I assume you would have a method for breaking the walk-beside if there is an attack on the party. I really look forward to this feature! Awesome. Now (this is impossible with Havok I expect) holding hands or linking arms would be the ultimate. The nearest someone got to that was Musje and "Ride Sharing" [https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11734] where he devised a hidden link pin. The only downside was he could not stop the default metal 'clonking' sound that it made from time to time. Love your mod!
