Yesterday we had a meeting (via Discord) with Rain Games, and we got to hear some of the music they're working on for the Girl Genius game. I'm delighted with how spot-on it is, it's exactly the kind of thing I would have asked for if I had the musical knowledge to get anything useful across. Think dark carousel and evil waltzes with a touch of industrial sound thrown in. It even lured one of the kids upstairs to see what I was listening to, which is a good sign.

I agree with your assessment of the severity of the injury, but it was harder to tell where he was hit before the page was colored, and I guess I had that version stuck in my mind when I wrote my original comment.

Or perhaps it *was* fatal and she revivified him by sheer force of terror!
