Long-time viewer, first-time caller... I absolutely *loved* this video, having actually been a progressive feminist author/home builder/permaculture property designer/SAHM of 2 very young kids/crunchy homesteader in a previous lifetime... the cosplaying for the patriarchy crap would be just stupid if it wasn't so fucking socially dangerous. 'Egg aprons'. FFS. Nobody who's collected eggs EVER would use a pretty piece of clothing to stuff things from a chook's butt into (no shade, my little dinosaur friends, it just is what it is) - even if they are perfectly shaped, pretty little pockets. And on another note: husband is a douche. I mentioned this in the comments for the produced video, but they're worth repeating here: the lack of savings and superannuation/401K for SAHM after a few years (or a child's pre-school/school years) is the 3 in the 1-2 punch women have to face if/when something goes wrong. Growing old in poverty is generally not portrayed in the glowing trad wife fantasy when you're young, thin, pretty, pre-menopausal and romantic. On another note, all these outtake videos are awesome enough to stand on their own - when I'm waiting for your next video to drop, I must remember this. The role play, the extras, the props, the camerawork and production, research, animation, writing the script and delivering the opinion pieces to camera with so much fact and wit, perfect punches and comedic timing... .you put *so* much work into these, Funky - they are so very appreciated, and you're amazing. Wish I could put more $ towards your job and craft, and when I'm not unemployed, I will. Keep doing what you do. :)

I made a post on Reddit today about almost this exact thing, and the mod told me they don’t generally allow people to share their “options” on things and I was like…why not? How else can I have a healthy discourse about these things? What I am trying to say is I love that you said it, and WAY more articulated than I did…bravo, I hope this empowers you because you’re doing the right thing

I have ADHD so actually paying attention to things can be hard unless it's some random hyperfixation so I like to think I'm working on my attention span, especially with interesting things like this. I feel like short form content is brain rot that's slowly killing everyone's attention span 😂😭 also, the animations were genuinely great. It was a really neat new component to your video and I actually thought you had someone else make it. Job well done!

I'm also stuck in a suppressive religion and am trying to pave a road out of it, and your video really struck home, it was done with the empathy and given the context this subject needs. As someone who was also raised by a trad wife in a conservative christian homeschool community, this was the most grounded take I’ve seen on the YouTube front so far. (Also the animations were flawless, my gf literally thought you hired someone to do them)
