Howdy y'allllllll! It's the first update of the year, thanks for sticking around! I've got a lot going on and a lot to say so please stick around and read it all! Overall, pretty good stuff!
Writing update:
So, a bit behind on writing as I took the beginning of the year off, but I'm back at it now! The script is at 7k words and I'm hoping to at least triple that before having it ready for an update. This will be a singularly focused update, just dealing with Tucker and some plot elements, with minor changes depending on the route. But, we'll get to spend a little time with an old friend, as you can see above!
Art update:
Ah Tyr, my beloved. . . So, why Tyr instead of Marrowyn? Well, he's in the update and I know what I wanted him to look like more than how I want Marrow to look. I've been wanting to redo him for a while because I believe his sprite is one of the worst and Marrowyn's still holds up pretty well as is. Another thing worth checking out though is the UI! I've always wanted the UI to look prettier in game, and now that this update is a bit shorter and a bit lighter on art, I figured it might be a good time to try some stuff! Everything you see is heavily WIP, and could be changes 100%, but just know I'm tryin to make the textboxes nicer! The menus and other screens will come at another time.
Patreon Update:
With this update going live I'm adding two new tiers to the patreon! One tier, the Director tier, will put your name on a new screen in the credits of upcoming updates, while the Excecutive tier, will get you a new headshot commision once per update. An example of that can be seen above.
I'm hoping to get this next update out to Patrons by March, but well see how it goes.
