Magic bus 142: How it ended up in the Alaskan wild without an engine.

[Audio issues now fixed, thanks to everyone for your feedback]

Ever wonder how Alexander Supertramp's Magic Bus ended up in the Alaskan wilderness? Me too, so I found out. The story of how this old 1947 International Harvester K5 made it way out into the wild without an engine is fascinating. In this video we'll talk through Bus 142's history, it's time leading up to, during & after being Mr. Supertramp's humble home & how it is today.

I've actually managed to get one of these new style videos done! I've been banging on about them for ages, doing test runs, figuring how to write up scripts (haven't wrote really since school) and figuring out angles and techniques for a very different format than I'm used to.

But they are coming to fruition! I hope you enjoy, as my first audience please feel free to let me know your thoughts or any issues you find, but most of all I hope you enjoy hearing the stories I have lined up for you.

All my best,

C.J

I watched the movie only yesterday after spending the evening on a rabbit hole prior. This was my next jump in so you’ve saved me… many thanks

Not surprised that Into The Wild made as much of an impression on you as it did me! What a life! And thanks for filling in so many gaps relating to the bus's history and future.
