February Update
Added 2025-02-04 21:56:53 +0000 UTCSo I've decided to start doing something of a montly roundup, to talk about what I'm currently doing, what I'd like to do, and the general state of the Ennuiverse. We'll see how long I keep up with this, but hopefully something of a monthly newsletter will help keep up interest.
Let's start with how the comic's been going. Presently, I'm starting to crawl out of a huge work hole. Towards the end of last year I was hit with one problem after another. I got sick, my computer blew up, and then I got sick again. All of which left me severely unable to work at my normal capacity. I am only just now barely starting to crawl out of the severe work deficit that left me in. It left me unable to work on any side projects, or any fun new stuff, but hopefully very soon I'll be out and ready to work at my full capacity once again.
As for current ongoing things, I'll be once again starting up the practice sketches distributed through patreon. I fell off of that quite a while ago, but I'd like to get it going again. These will be little warmup sketches I do before my normal work, and will just be quick life drawing poses to help improve my artwork. Additionally, I'm ordering the next set of trading cards soon, which will be Axil and Diana. I hope the people on the $15 tier enjoy them.
For the immediate future, there's some exciting stuff coming up. First, I'm working on both the kickstarter for Volume 2 of Black Hole, which will come along with a physical book for the Ennui GO! pinups! This will collect the first 100 pinups, along with any variants there might be.
Secondly, I'm hard at work on getting the Ennui GO! books, as well as Nyx and Emma Nova, available print-on demand! That means that Volumes 0-7 as well as Nyx and Emma Nova will be available to purchase at any time! That's been a tremendous amount of effort with numerous setbacks, but we are SO close!
After that, the next immediate project is the creation of an Ennui GO! merchandise shop. Our first goal will be about 10 tshirts and a few keycharms, but the shirt line will be expanded further later on. I'm already done with the first few shirt designs, but it won't be launched until there are at least 10 designs to choose from. These will be both shirts referencing the comic, as well as shirt designs FROM the comic. I'll do a big announcement when it's ready.
Beyond that is less concrete. I'd still like to work on the next expansion for Nyx, the tarot deck. It's about 2/5ths of the way done, but considering that Nyx was not as popular as I had initially hoped, it's low on the priority list. As well, I'm slowly chipping away at the second novel in the series I have planned, and it's about half done, but it's slow going. Much further on down the line, I've been working on a game design document for a second try at making Pro Ass Fishing real. I'd be VERY interested in doing that, but I'd need some kind of incentive to bump it to the top of my priorities.
That's all for now! Let me know what you think, what you're most excited for, and if you've got any ideas you'd like to see! I'll try to do these about once a month to keep you all tuned-in! Thank you so much for reading, and for being part of the Ennuiverse!
Stay tuned.

Nyx not being more popular is a shame, my group has really enjoyed playing when our main DM needs a break so I run stuff.

But what I've read from the concepts and the like it does seem like something I could see myself getting into in time. If you feel motivated to do it, do it. The right people will find it now, and others will find it in time. I believe in it.
