Okihara Origins 2: A Legacy, Denied
Added 2021-10-31 04:12:19 +0000 UTCSecond and last part of Okihara's origin story. The Manmanuki clan has a long history of sumo tanuki champions spanning many generations. Okihara wanted nothing more to be the next in line, but traditional sumo forbids women to compete! So as the oyabun of her crew of yakuza wannabes, she paved her own way. Until the law intervened, so the crew fled Japan for America, where they could possibly make a new start.

2021-12-01 05:00:22 +0000 UTCThe food theme for each of the characters was something I kinda came up with since Oki's hair bun is based on ramen (I also realize now I left out the piece of sushi she has in her hair), the others' hair is based on food as well

2021-11-02 04:55:46 +0000 UTCI love the adorable octopus and how he looks like the little hotdog octos you get in a bento lunch ♥ Sidenote, gotta love how to this day, official sumo forbids participation by women and foreigners, even as both increasingly gain support, and then the folks in charge wonder why sumo hasn't been accepted into the Olympics yet. Like gee, I wonder, couldn't possibly be the fact that the outdated rules you adamantly enforce specifically exclude anyone who isn't a Japanese man. :V
