Red Swallowed Whole!

Jason thought he could handle it alone. Arrogant and overconfident, he faced the Terror Toad without calling for backup. But his cockiness turned to desperation as he was overpowered and swallowed whole. Trapped, suffocated, and broken, Jason fought to escape but found himself tethered to his captor. The Terror Toad laughed, savoring his power, mocking his courage, enjoying every scream. But the monster’s hunger wasn’t satisfied. It wanted more. It wanted them all.

“Do you think the others will be as tasty as you?”

Ribbit, ribbit!

In the heart of Angel Grove Park, the midday sun cast long shadows across the lush greenery, dappling the ground with flecks of light. A soft breeze rustled the leaves, creating a serene contrast to the chaos about to unfold. Jason stood tall, his crimson armor gleaming as he tightened his grip on his Power Sword. His stance was confident, his posture radiating power and authority. This was his moment, his fight. He didn’t need the others. Not this time.

His communicator buzzed urgently on his wrist. “Jason, come in! Are you alright?” Zack’s voice was frantic, laced with worry. Jason’s lips curled into a cocky smirk beneath his helmet.

“Chill, Zack,” Jason replied, his voice dripping with confidence. “I’ve got this. Just a toad with an eating disorder. I’ll be home in time for dinner.”

He cut off the communicator before his friends could argue. He didn’t need them to hold his hand. Besides, the Red Ranger didn’t back down from a challenge. Especially not one this big.

A low, guttural croak echoed through the park, vibrating the air with a malevolent resonance. The ground trembled as the enormous, grotesque form of Terror Toad lumbered into view, its bulbous body rippling with sickening rolls of greenish flesh. Its bulbous yellow eyes gleamed with hunger, its cavernous mouth stretched into a wicked grin, revealing rows of jagged, slimy teeth.

It belched, the sound wet and gurgling. “Mmmm... Red Ranger...” Its voice was deep, each word reverberating through the air like rolling thunder. “I can already taste your power... Spicy and bold... Just the way I like it.”

Jason scoffed, spinning his Power Sword in a flashy display. “Hope you’ve got room for disappointment, you ugly sack of slime! Let’s dance!” He charged forward with a burst of speed, his athletic prowess on full display as he closed the distance with acrobatic flips and agile footwork.

Terror Toad’s mouth split into a wider grin, its tongue slithering out like a serpent, dripping with thick, toxic saliva. It lashed out with terrifying speed, aiming to coil around Jason’s waist, but the Red Ranger was ready. He twisted mid-air, narrowly evading the attack with a graceful somersault, landing behind the beast in a crouched stance.

“Too slow!” Jason taunted, his voice filled with playful arrogance. “For a toad, you hop like a rock.”

He spun low, his Power Sword slicing through the air with a sharp whistle. The blade struck the back of Terror Toad’s leg, sparks flying as it cut through the thick, rubbery flesh. The monster roared, its body convulsing in pain as it staggered forward.

But Terror Toad’s eyes gleamed with cruel cunning. It spun with surprising agility, its massive arm sweeping through the air like a wrecking ball. Jason’s eyes widened beneath his helmet, the force and speed catching him off-guard. He barely managed to leap over the strike, the sheer power of the swing sending a shockwave that uprooted nearby trees, their trunks splintering like toothpicks.

“Whoa!” Jason exclaimed, landing a few yards away with a roll. He straightened up, giving the monster an impressed nod. “Not bad for an overgrown amphibian. Too bad you still look like roadkill.”

Terror Toad let out a hissing croak, its tongue flicking out in irritation. “Keep laughing, boy... Your screams will sound even sweeter.” It stomped forward, the ground shaking beneath its enormous weight. The earth cracked, fissures spreading out as the monster’s sheer mass threatened to tear the park apart.

It lunged again, its tongue lashing out like a whip. Jason ducked under it, his movements fluid and fast. He sprinted forward, zig-zagging to avoid the follow-up strikes as the tongue cracked like a bullwhip around him, each blow shattering boulders and leaving craters in the earth.

Jason’s adrenaline surged. He felt alive, his heart pounding with excitement. This was why he was the Red Ranger. The thrill of battle, the rush of facing impossible odds and coming out on top. He couldn’t wait to rub this in Zack’s face later.

He sprang into the air, his legs coiling as he launched himself high above Terror Toad’s head. He flipped mid-air, bringing his Power Sword down in a powerful overhead strike. The blade connected with the top of the monster’s skull, a burst of sparks and energy exploding from the impact. Terror Toad howled, its body jerking as the force of the blow drove it to its knees.

Jason landed gracefully behind the beast, spinning his sword with a flourish. “And here I thought you’d be a challenge. Maybe I should’ve brought a flyswatter instead.”

The monster’s eyes flashed with fury. Its body rippled, muscles bulging grotesquely as it stood back up, towering over Jason with renewed rage. It opened its mouth, an inhuman roar erupting that shook the park to its core. Then it lunged, its massive arms swinging in wild, brutal arcs.

Jason’s confidence never wavered. He sidestepped the first swing with ease, leaning back as the second arm passed inches from his chest. “You’re telegraphing your moves,” he taunted, ducking low as the monster’s tongue snapped at him like a whip. “I’ve seen kindergarteners with better aim.”

He countered with a powerful thrust, his Power Sword stabbing deep into Terror Toad’s side. The monster howled, green ichor spraying from the wound as it staggered back, clutching its injured flank. Jason grinned, pulling his sword free with a flourish. “Not so tough now, huh?”

But his arrogance was premature. Terror Toad’s eyes narrowed, its mouth curling into a wicked grin. “Arrogant little snack... You’re barely a mouthful.”

Before Jason could react, the monster’s body convulsed, its muscles bulging grotesquely as it charged forward with terrifying speed. Its massive arms swung down like hammers, the sheer force cracking the ground beneath them. Jason leaped to the side, narrowly avoiding the crushing blows, but the shockwave sent him tumbling through the air.

With an acrobatic twist, he righted himself, landing on his feet just in time to see Terror Toad’s tongue shooting toward him like a javelin. He dodged again, but the tip of the tongue grazed his shoulder, sending a jolt of pain through his body. “Tch... That’s got some bite,” Jason muttered, rolling his shoulder to shake off the sting.

But Terror Toad didn’t let up. It was on him in an instant, its bulk moving with surprising speed. Its arms came down again, the impact force shaking the earth as Jason darted between the strikes, his movements a blur of red and gold. He countered with a flurry of sword slashes, each strike aimed at the monster’s joints and weak points. Sparks flew as his blade connected, but each blow only fueled the monster’s fury.

Terror Toad let out a guttural croak, its eyes glowing with malice. “I like it when my food struggles,” it taunted, its tongue flicking out to taste the air. “Makes the meal all the sweeter.”

Jason’s grip tightened on his Power Sword, his heart racing with exhilaration. “Bring it, slimeball,” he challenged, his voice steady despite the odds. “I’ll make you regret underestimating me.”

But beneath his bravado, a shadow of doubt flickered. This monster was different. Stronger. Smarter. And as it lunged at him again, its mouth opening wide, Jason realized too late that he may have bitten off more than he could chew.

From above, the monster loomed, its grotesque form blotting out the sun. Its massive, swollen body cast a shadow over Jason, plunging him into a cold darkness that seeped through his armor. Terror Toad’s mouth yawned impossibly wide, a cavernous abyss lined with jagged, uneven teeth, each coated with a glistening layer of viscous saliva. The drool hung in long, thick strands, dripping slowly, stretching like glue before splattering onto the ground with a sickening hiss.

The stench hit Jason first—a rancid, fetid odor that reeked of decay and corruption, stinging his nostrils even through his helmet’s filters. His body seized up, muscles locking with instinctual terror as his breath came out in ragged, panicked gasps. His chest heaved, struggling to draw in air as the monster’s mouth descended, darkening the world around him.

Jason’s heart raced, pounding wildly as adrenaline coursed through his veins, but his body felt heavy, his limbs unresponsive. Exhaustion gripped him, weighing him down as he stared into the black void of the monster’s maw. A flicker of red light danced in his periphery—his Power Sword, shattered and cracked, lying just out of reach. His chest tightened as he realized it was his only chance.

“No... Not... this!” Jason’s voice was shrill, tinged with panic. He forced his body to move, his limbs shaking as he crawled toward the broken weapon. His fingers trembled as they closed around the hilt, his grip weak but determined. “I... won’t... be... your... food!”

His voice cracked, a mix of defiance and desperation. He pushed himself to his knees, his body swaying unsteadily. “You think you’re tough?! You’re just a big mouth with legs!” he shouted, his voice wavering. “I’m... not... done!”

Terror Toad’s laughter rumbled through the air, a deep, guttural croak that shook the ground. Its tongue shot out, the muscular appendage moving with blinding speed as it wrapped around Jason’s torso. The slimy, coiled flesh tightened like a vice, crushing his chest and arms, pinning him in place. Jason’s ribs creaked under the pressure, pain lancing through his body as his lungs struggled to expand.

“G-Gah! No! No! LET GO!” Jason’s voice was high-pitched, laced with fear as he fought against the tongue’s crushing grip. He thrashed wildly, his body jerking as he tried to free himself. His fingers tightened around the shattered Power Sword, the broken blade sparking weakly. He swung it with all his strength, the edge cutting into the tongue with a burst of red energy.

The monster howled, its tongue recoiling slightly, the flesh splitting open as green ichor sprayed from the wound. But the tongue did not release him. Instead, it tightened, muscles contracting as it pulled him off the ground. Jason’s legs kicked frantically, his boots scraping against the dirt. “NO! LET ME GO! I... I... won’t... disappear!” His voice was cracking, his words breaking into panicked gasps.

The tongue contracted again, crushing him with bone-cracking force. Jason’s vision went white, pain exploding through his chest as his ribs buckled. His Power Sword shattered, the blade breaking into shards that dissolved into energy, slipping from his fingers. “NO! NO! MY... MY SWORD!” He screamed, his voice shrill and broken. “I... I... this... can’t... be...”

His body shrank, his limbs retracting as his form condensed, the red light spiraling inward. His voice became muffled, warping as his body dissolved into pure energy, coalescing into a glowing orb of red light.

Terror Toad’s tongue retracted, the orb of light vibrating as Jason’s screams echoed within. “NO! NO! I’M STILL HERE!” The orb shook violently, the light pulsing as his voice grew faint. “I... won’t... disappear!”

The monster flicked its tongue, and the orb was yanked through the air, disappearing into the gaping maw. Jason’s world became darkness, his consciousness spiraling through a long, fleshy tunnel. The walls were wet and slimy, pulsing with rhythmic contractions that squeezed him forward, dragging him deeper. “You... can’t... do this!” His voice was frantic, echoing through the darkness.

The peristaltic motion was relentless, compressing him from all sides, forcing him down the monster’s throat. He could feel himself dissolving, his consciousness fracturing as the acidic mucus burned through his energy. “IT BURNS! IT BURNS! IT’S EATING ME ALIVE!” His screams were shrill, cracking with pain as his form flickered, his light dimming.

He was deposited with a wet splash into a cavernous chamber, the stomach walls expanding and contracting around him. His body rematerialized, his armor hissing as it was drenched in bubbling, corrosive acid. The pain was blinding, the acid eating through his suit, searing his flesh. He thrashed violently, his fists pounding against the rubbery walls, his screams echoing in the slimy tomb.

“IT HURTS! IT HURTS! STOP!” His voice was raw, broken by sobs as the acid continued to dissolve him. “I... I... won’t... be... yours!”

Jason’s body convulsed, his limbs jerking in spasms as the burning acid seared his flesh. It was relentless, bubbling and churning around him, the acrid fumes filling his helmet and clawing at his lungs. His muscles twitched uncontrollably, his fingers curling against the rubbery walls as his nerves screamed in agony. His suit, once a symbol of his power and identity, was hissing and melting away, the fabric fusing to his skin as the acid ate through it layer by layer.

His body thrashed involuntarily, his limbs flailing as he tried to fight back, to push the walls away, but they pressed in closer, tightening around him like a constrictor. The flesh was warm and wet, pulsating with rhythmic contractions that squeezed him from all sides, compressing his body into a suffocating cocoon. He could feel the muscle fibers moving beneath his touch, the tissue rippling and undulating as it sought to envelop him completely.

“N-No! Get away! BACK OFF!” Jason shouted, his voice cracking with terror as he swung his broken Power Sword at the approaching tendrils. “I won’t... I won’t go down like this!” He hacked at the slimy flesh, the shattered blade sparking weakly as it cut through the rubbery coils. “Stay BACK!”

The tendrils recoiled, ichor spraying from the wounds, but more appeared, countless more, writhing and curling as they surrounded him, their movements hungry and deliberate.

Terror Toad’s laughter boomed, echoing through the chamber with mocking glee. “Squirm for me, little Ranger... Struggle... It makes the digestion so much more satisfying!” Its voice was filled with cruel satisfaction, the belly walls vibrating with each word. “You’re spicy... Feisty... Perfect for a snack.”

Jason’s heart pounded, his vision blurring as panic set in. “I’M NOT YOUR FOOD!” he screamed, his voice raw and furious. “I’m... I’m a Power Ranger!” But his words sounded hollow, his confidence shattered. The acid was rising, the bubbling liquid lapping at his waist, soaking through his boots and scorching his skin. His legs buckled, the pain overwhelming as the acid ate through his nerves, leaving his limbs numb and useless.

“Oh, you were never a Ranger...” Terror Toad crooned, its voice oozing with contempt. “You were always just a tasty little morsel... wrapped in a colorful shell.” The stomach walls shuddered, a deep, rumbling growl vibrating through the chamber. “And now, you’re exactly where you belong... In my belly.”

“No! NO!” Jason thrashed violently, his body convulsing as the tendrils coiled around his arms and legs, pinning him in place. “I won’t... I WON’T BE EATEN!” His voice was shrill, trembling with fear. He could feel the pressure building, his body compacting under the force, his bones creaking as the muscles flexed.

The walls contracted again, the muscles squeezing him tighter, forcing the air from his lungs. Jason’s body arched, his back bending painfully as he was pressed into the rubbery flesh, his limbs locked in place. The tendrils slithered over his body, tightening around his chest and neck, constricting his movements.

Terror Toad’s laughter grew louder, the sound vibrating through Jason’s body. “That suit won’t save you... That helmet won’t protect you... You’re nothing but nutrients now!” Its voice was filled with delight, its hunger palpable. “All that power... All that arrogance... Just fuel for me!”

Jason’s mouth opened, a strangled scream tearing from his throat. “NO! NO! I... I CAN’T... I WON’T...” But his voice was breaking, his words faltering as the acid continued to dissolve him. His armor was melting away, the fabric fusing to his skin as the plates buckled under the pressure. His visor was cracking, the transparent shield fogging up as the fumes filled his helmet.

The tendrils tightened, their coiling flesh wrapping around his limbs, his torso, his neck, squeezing him from all sides. The muscles flexed, the walls contracting as they pressed in closer, compressing his body into a compact mass. His bones creaked, the joints popping as his limbs were crushed inward, his body bending at unnatural angles.

Jason’s screams were muffled, his voice echoing within the fleshy tomb as the walls pressed in, engulfing him in a suffocating embrace. The pressure was relentless, his body compacting as the muscles flexed, his limbs folding into his torso, his head pressed into his chest. He could feel his bones breaking, his joints dislocating as his body was crushed into a pulpy mass.

“Your struggles are delicious...” Terror Toad’s voice was low and rumbling, vibrating through the chamber. “But you’re only delaying the inevitable... You’re mine, little Red...” The tattoo on Terror Toad’s belly glowed, a crimson light pulsing in time with Jason’s heartbeat, tethering his soul to the monster.

***

Jason’s vision was fading, his consciousness slipping away as his body dissolved into nutrients, his energy siphoned through the bond, feeding the creature. His final thoughts were jumbled, a chaotic spiral of pain and despair.

“I... I... was food...” Jason’s voice was a whisper, trembling with defeat. “I... was... just... food...” His screams faded, his voice lost within the darkness as the acid swallowed him whole.

Terror Toad let out a contented sigh, his belly rumbling as the tattoo absorbed the last of Jason’s power. “Mmmm... Spicy... Just like I thought...” It patted its swollen gut, the glowing tattoo of the Red Ranger’s helmet flickering before dulling as a permanent fixture of the monster’s body.

He could feel the muscle fibers moving beneath his touch, the tissue rippling and undulating as it sought to envelop him completely.

“N-No! Get off me! BACK OFF!” Jason shouted, his voice cracking with terror as he swung his broken Power Sword at the approaching tendrils. “I... I’m not... I’m not meat!” He hacked at the slimy flesh, the shattered blade sparking weakly as it cut through the rubbery coils. “Stay AWAY!” But even as he screamed, his voice wavered, the words sounding hollow, uncertain.

Deep down, a sickening realization was already worming its way into his mind. The truth was there, lurking beneath his defiance, whispering to him from the darkness. “I... I’m not meat...” But the words were weak, trembling, and he could feel the doubt growing, gnawing at his resolve.

Jason’s body convulsed, his limbs jerking as the tendrils coiled tighter, crushing him from all sides. The acid bubbled around him, the fumes filling his helmet as the flesh walls pressed in, the muscles flexing as they compacted his body into a pulpy mass. His vision blurred, the light fading as the darkness closed in, his thoughts splintering into fragments.

His mind spiraled, his thoughts breaking apart as the acid rose higher, soaking through his chest, his neck, his helmet. His skin was burning, peeling away as his flesh dissolved, his nerves screaming as his body was broken down into mush. He could feel himself slipping away, his strength fading, his identity unraveling.

“I’m... I’m just... just food...” His voice was hollow, trembling with despair. “Meat... Just... meat...” The words echoed through his mind, his consciousness fracturing as he realized the truth. He wasn’t a hero. He wasn’t a leader. He was nothing but meat, trapped inside this monster, being digested alive.

Terror Toad’s laughter was deafening now, echoing through the chamber with triumphant glee. “Yes... That’s right... You were never a hero... just a little piece of prey... A delicious little Red morsel... Nothing more.” The stomach walls quivered, the muscles flexing as they began to crush him, the tissue enveloping him completely. “Just meat... to be digested... to become part of me...”

His mind shattered, the realization hitting him with brutal clarity. “I... I’m just meat...” The words left his lips unbidden, the truth sinking in, filling him with despair. “Rangers... are just... food... for Terror Toad...” The thought wormed its way into his mind, twisting his perception, warping his understanding. “Red Ranger... That’s just... his favorite flavor...”

His chest tightened, his heart pounding as his mind spiraled into madness. “I... I’m meat... Red Ranger meat... That’s all I am... That’s all... I was ever meant to be...” His body convulsed, his limbs jerking as the tendrils wrapped tighter, crushing him, consuming him. “I’m just... food... Just... meat...”

His thoughts shattered, his identity fracturing as the truth overwhelmed him. He was food. Nothing more. Just meat. Just nutrients for this monster. His body was dissolving, his flesh breaking down into mush, his energy draining away. He could feel himself slipping away, his soul unraveling as the acid continued to eat through him.

But in the final moments, just as the darkness was about to consume him, a spark of light flared deep within his chest. It was faint, fragile, but it was there—a stubborn refusal to disappear, to be nothing. A memory surfaced, a flicker of golden light, a whisper of power that resonated within him.

The Dragon Armor. The ancient energy that had been passed down to him, the power that had protected him before. It was still there, deep within him, waiting to be awakened, to be summoned. His heart surged, his spirit flaring as the golden light ignited, radiating from his chest.

Jason’s mouth moved, his lips trembling as the words formed in his mind, the summoning call for the Dragon Armor. His voice was weak, his throat raw, the sound breaking into a strangled croak. “D... Dra...” He tried to speak, but the tendrils tightened, the pressure crushing his chest, forcing the air from his lungs.

He gasped, his head jerking as he struggled to breathe, his body convulsing as the golden light surged within him, fighting against the acid, against the crushing walls. His mind was fractured, his identity broken, but the power was there, the energy swirling around him, filling him with strength, with purpose.

“Dr... Dra... Dragon...” His voice was trembling, his mouth struggling to form the words, his tongue heavy, his throat raw. “Dragon... Armor...” The words were faint, his voice cracking as the light pulsed within him, the energy crackling as it radiated from his chest.

The golden light expanded, swirling around him in radiant waves, shielding him from the acid, repelling the tendrils. The muscles recoiled, the walls vibrating as the energy surged, filling the chamber with blinding light. Terror Toad’s body shuddered, its belly walls contracting as the golden energy surged through it, burning through its flesh, its muscles, its bones.

“NO! NO! YOU CAN’T... YOU CAN’T BREAK FREE!” Terror Toad’s voice was panicked, filled with rage and disbelief. The tattoo on its belly flickered, the glowing helmet symbol cracking as Jason’s power surged, breaking the tether.

The golden light intensified, the energy crackling as it expanded, filling the chamber with radiant light. Jason’s mouth opened, his head tilting back as he shouted the summoning call, his voice echoing through the chamber with fierce defiance. “DRAGON ARMOR!”

The light erupted, swirling around him in radiant waves, forming shimmering plates of golden armor around his chest and shoulders. The Dragon Armor solidified, the energy crackling as it shielded him from the acid, protecting him from the crushing walls. The tendrils recoiled, the flesh walls vibrating as the golden light expanded, burning through the muscles, the tissue disintegrating on contact.

Terror Toad’s body convulsed, its belly walls contracting as the golden energy surged through it, burning through its flesh, its muscles, its bones. The monster’s eyes bulged, its throat swelling as it gagged, its massive body shaking with violent spasms.

The walls contracted, the muscles squeezing Jason with one last, desperate attempt to crush him, to break him, to digest him. But the light was too powerful, the Dragon Armor shielding him from the crushing force, protecting him from the acid’s burn. The golden plates gleamed, the energy crackling as it repelled the tendrils, the flesh walls crumbling away.

Terror Toad’s mouth opened wide, its jaw unhinging as it gagged, its throat expanding as the golden energy surged upward, forcing its way out. The monster’s body convulsed, its stomach muscles contracting as it retched, the sound wet and gurgling.

Jason’s body was wrenched upward, his limbs jerking as he was pulled through the fleshy tunnel, the peristaltic motion reversing as the monster vomited him out. The golden light surrounded him, shielding him from the acidic mucus as he was propelled through the throat, his body twisting and tumbling through the fleshy tube.

With a sickening wet slurp, he was ejected from the monster’s mouth, his body drenched in steaming slime as he landed in a heap on the ground. The grass sizzled beneath him, the acidic mucus burning through the earth as the golden light flickered, the Dragon Armor shimmering before fading away.

Jason lay on the ground, his body limp and trembling, his chest heaving as he gasped for air. His suit was shredded, the fabric hanging off his body in tatters, his armor cracked and broken. His helmet was still intact, but the visor was shattered, the transparent shield smeared with slime. He could feel the acid burning his skin, his muscles aching as pain radiated through his body.

Beside him, the shattered remains of his Power Sword lay in the dirt, the blade broken in half, the red energy flickering weakly before fading out. The weapon was useless now, its power drained, its legacy shattered.

Terror Toad staggered backward, its body shaking as smoke poured from its mouth, its eyes wide with shock and fury. It clutched its belly, its swollen gut rippling as the tattoo of the Red Ranger’s helmet cracked, the symbol shattering before disappearing entirely. The monster let out a pained groan, its knees buckling as it stumbled, its body convulsing with spasms.

“You... YOU BROKE FREE!” It howled, its voice filled with rage and disbelief. “IMPOSSIBLE! YOU... YOU WERE TASTY!”

Jason’s fingers curled, his hands clenching as he forced himself to his knees, his body shaking with exhaustion. He looked up at the monster, his vision blurred, his head spinning as the world tilted around him. He was weak, his energy drained, his power shattered. But he was alive.
