ERB January Update

Welcome to 2025!

As you've doubtless seen in the news, Los Angeles is currently in a real state of shock with the wildfires that have spread in various areas. Everyone involved with ERB is safe and well but we have friends and family who have been devastated by these events.

Hopefully the worst is nearly over but some fires are still raging out of control, schools are closed, roads are emptier and ash is falling from the skies. It's been a very sad start to the year and we hope none of you have been affected by it all.

You will be glad to know that the situation hasn't slowed down work on the next battle. Peter and Lloyd have been in the studio this week recording audio for the secret battle and they will be filming it on Saturday and Sunday. It will be released in the early part of this year, so you won't have to wait too long for the next ERB. :)

Which brings me to the crux of this post today. Check out the video above for a mini update from Peter. I would like the guys to do more of these kind of video updates throughout 2025 so let me know if you'd like to have more. We will obviously do the full video live streams too.

If you missed the last live stream here are a few of the main talking points...

We've been editing the Behind The Scenes video for the recent Election battle. Not sure when that will be finalised but we are hopeful we can do so before the end of January.

The guys are continuing to work on lyrics for "Red Baron vs White Death" which will be the second battle coming out in 2025. It still needs some work but we want to record and film that one in the first half of the year.

We would also like to put out a third battle this year - we've not decided 100% what matchup that would be. "Ulysses S. Grant vs Ho Chi Minh" is one that is strongly being considered. If you would like to submit lyric ideas to that battle you can do so over on the Discord server.

We want to plot in some more live shows in 2025. Not worked out the details yet. But if you'd like us to come to your city let us know where we should go in the comments.
