A Quick Update from Nathan. Beyoncé fans will appreciate this.

Hey everyone. I have a brief moment on the evening before the next camp starts, so I wanted to give y'all an update on what is happening and what I was doing for the last week. First let me say that I am still reeling from the incredible concert I had the privilege of seeing. I'm dying to giving you a full and complete breakdown of my experience in Houston, which will likely happen next week once I finish the week I'm currently starting. Which leads me to explaining where I am.

Every year I get to work with incredible youth and leaders at a camp up here in Southern Alberta called FACES. The entire purpose of the camp is to empower young people with confidence and value to understand how to improve themselves and be better people all around. It's honestly one of my favourite things I do every year.

My job is to capture the week long camp and translate the events and feeling into a video that shows what happened and gives each young person something to remember.

I'll be discussing this in an upcoming video (when I get a week off next week), but for now I figured our Beyoncé fans would love this next part. During the 30+ mile hike I did with them, I talked their ears off about the concert, Beyoncé, Houston, Cowboy Carter, and anything they would let me tell them. I had a moment where I had to hike ahead of them for about 11 miles, and the whole way I listened to Cowboy Carter several times over. I have so much to say about that. But as I was listening, I realized how perfect the song PROTECTOR was and how well it applied to what we were doing. Long story short, I included it in the cut of the video. They really seemed to like it when we watched the video on the final day of camp (I had to edit the video WHILE I hiked - another long story), and it will premiere on the camp's Youtube channel tonight at 6:00 pm PST/9:00 EST. If you're a fan of my work, you'll appreciate the fact that this was shot, edited, colour graded and rendered all within a week - no easy task.
