Liam often spoke of being locked in hotel rooms. It appears to have been a trauma trigger for him. On the night of his death, I believe he had a seizure in the elevator/lobby and then was carried by his hands and feet to his room, where he told staff he would escape if they locked him in. They did and called an ambulance, but he died minutes later. He had thrown his bag over the edge of the balcony to the balcony below and tried to climb down but lost consciousness/had another seizure and fell. His fixation with being locked in hotel rooms in interviews is truly haunting, as it very, very directly relates to his cause of death. He would likely not have died if they had not locked him in the room and had just waited for EMS.
