What you tried to read, and that I phrased very complicated, was, that I choose to give you the single in the end, though other songs show of Orlando's voice better. And that sadly it's the single from their last album. I think they really stopped when they were just getting brilliant and it's sad. I will make sure to send you more ❤️
2023-01-18 08:19:21 +0000 UTCFun fact about the Speak Now album: It came after Taylor had just become the youngest artist to win Album Of The Year at the Grammys, critics were saying “There’s no way a teenage girl pulled her weight in those writing sessions, those were ghost written and she just put her name on them” so she wrote the entirety of Speak Now solo with no co-writes as a “fuck you” to the people who didn’t believe she was doing most of the writing. She references this in Long Live (a song you heard on the Rep Tour which is from this album) where she says “When they gave us our trophies and we held them up for our town, and the cynics were outraged, screaming “this is absurd”, ‘cause for a moment a band of thieves in ripped up jeans got to rule the world”
