Hi Clint. I don't know when you'll get the chance to read this. I am not sure if you remember me. We met a year or so ago. I do PC case and CPU Cooler reviews for PC Perspective, and I'm in the Asheville area as well. My wife and I were very lucky through this ordeal. As of today (10/3) we have power, internet, and running water (though still on a boil advisory). You and your family are welcome to come by if you need showers, hot food, or anything else we could help with. If you need anything, feel free to email me. For any other of your Patrons who might be in the area, the mental health facility I work for during the day has also begun receiving many supplies from other providers across the state, for our clients and the rest of the community as well.

Hey Clint! I have always enjoyed your videos for years now and as a fellow North Carolinian, was devastated to hear about the damage that Hurricane Helene cause across Western North Carolina. I live more towards the Eastern part, not that far away from Raleigh, but it hurts seeing the people in my state losing their homes and businesses from flooding and high winds. I have a sister that lives about 2 hours away from Asheville, so I was worried not just about you, but also my friends and family. Luckily, my sister and you are still alive and safe! I live in Greenville, and yeah, Helene was SO much worse than expected. At least all I have to deal with is water damage from a roof leak and a prolonged power outage. Lots of other folks here weren't so lucky, and I know Asheville got it even worse. Stay safe, we'll be here when you're ready.

I have family that lives in the Asheville and Waynesville areas. Some still without power and there is limited or no cellular service. We were able to get a hold of one of them that still has power. The others we don't know. At least they live at higher elevations and not near any rivers or lakes.

Yeah, that thing went a lot farther East than they anticipated it would. We were all ready here in north Georgia to get pounded, but it (so far) has just been a bunch of rain. We actually still have power, surprisingly. My son lives in Mooresville, NC, about 2 hours east of y'all. Still awaiting word on how they're doing over there. Hopefully better than Asheville -- y'all got hit way harder than anyone anticipated. Back when hurricanes Ivan and Jeanne hit in 2004, back-to-back only a week apart, I got significant damage from both storms.
