Hope you're ready for a bit of a collab

Just a snapshot here from an LGR episode that's coming soon to a Patreon page near you. It's a bunch of geekery in one video and it'll be awesome, I think.

Any ideas as to the topic? Although I know a few of the folks in this video are patrons so hush ;)

Hope you're ready for a bit of a collab

Comments

Multiplayer Battle Royale of Total Annihilation, Doom, and other classic LAN games?

JennaKay

Super excited to see Gemini in a LGR cross over again :D

I follow eight of these nine fantastic individuals. Time to make it a full nine. No idea on what it is, but looking forward to whatever it may be.

Ois

2 of the thumbnails have doom in them, so I am guessing it has to do with that.

And I feel stupid. I didn't have my glasses on. He is in the upper left hand corner of the image!

Looking forward to seeing this! So much geekery in such a small space. Maybe we will see "The 8Bit Guy"? One can only hope. That would add so much more geekery!

Most kind :D

Nostalgia Nerd

I reckon it's "Who can down 4 pints of lager quickest"

Nostalgia Nerd

can't wait!!!!!

Evan B

This is a dream-team tier collab, super excited to see what you guys have up your sleeves!

SammyToesis

Oh my! That's fantastic!

Jacek Grzondziel

Brutalmoose! Already this is gonna be a fun video. (Not that LGR and PUR aren't fun anyway, of course...)

Tim

If Ashens and Guru Larry aren't involved, I'll be disappointed.

Tim

Oh wow, most of us DO have long hair, don't we? XD

Kris Asick

Woooooo, i know some of these people

Slope's Game Room

Nine nerds come together to compete in creating world's greatest sandwiches and on each episode Clint decides who stays and who has to go home.

Amazing! All my favourites in one place! Can’t wait to see this 😊

Mat Cooper

Hair?

I guess this is the start of the Retro PC Gaming cinematic universe

A live "You Don't Know Jack" competition! I knew it would happen eventually! Wait... You don't go to all those Goodwills without running into five copies of "Scene It" in each store. It's going to be a Scene It competition!

Paul

i know it will be awesome

That's a very nice group of content creators you're collaborating with Clint (^_^). As for the topic, I'm going to throw my hat way out there and say it's a computer hardware retrospective from the 1970s to the 2000s.

This is a pure nerdgasm overload oO Can't wait!

Michal -milczyciel- Holdynski

:D I would like to see Clint and the 8-Bit guy hang out and talk about old PCs and games

floverSaeu09

Favorite RTS from the PC golden age? Love to see some multi-player RTS stuff. Command and Conquer, Total Annihilation....original Starcraft? It's gonna be fun regardless, I just miss strategy games.

It's a fight to the death isn't it.. Each combatant armed with little more than quirky old tech. RetroWars.

A fine round up of talent.

Iain Roberts

Geez, I can't even guess. You're uniting together to defeat Thanos?

Nathan (PixelPipes)

Topic: You can only bring one copy of any media. One (set of) floppies, one casette, one cd-rom, one dvd-rom, one audio disc, one vinyl record, one book, etc..

so excited to see 8bit guy :D

Must be something on DOS, probably gaming.

Steven Zakulec

Jeez...Not really sure which one to pick here... Whatever it is, it'll be awesome, that's for sure!

This is going to be awesome! Duke Nukem Approves :D

Haydon Beagley

Favorite edutainment game.

Will Herrmann

Doom/Quake LAN party xd

Earliest memory of a "WOW" moment with technology.

Ryan Kelly

Multiplayer Doom?

David Rickard

One piece of hardware that encapsulates everything you love about the PC hobby.

briandemodulated

Yay Pixelmusement! ^-^ I watch most of the other guys, too - there's no doubt it will be epic.

Danny

Yes!!! Thanks so much for asking me to be a part of this video :)

Metal Jesus Rocks

Awesom! :)

Nicholas Wilson

This is exciting! Can't wait to see it!

While I don't know what the video will be about, I can say that I know 8 of the 9 collaborators shown here and I'm currently subscribed to 6 of them. This feels oddly reassuring that I'm watching the right channels ;)

Renzo Thönen

Topic: What games you like for mostly nostalgic reasons but others who haven't played it as a kid, don't.

Yay Ian!

November Delta

I assume it's "What's best in life ?" And to that I'd say : "To see your Amiga join forces with your 3dfx, and hear the lamentations of your IBM." ;-)

Maximilien Noal

I think you're right with the "First computer you played Doom on" idea. The PC's there are too "new" to be people's firsts.

Hivetyrant

Good seeing Nostalgia Nerd Pete in there!

Adventure game retrospective?

Jason Lancaster

Pajama Sam!

Randall Strye

Oh, and the topic surely is, um... uh... "PCs"?

Pablo Rodriguez

Yeah my bet is also "my first computer" brutalmoose throws me off for other topics since I know he is a bit younger than the rest of the crowd.

I confess I don't know half of these people, but I love all the others, and if they're collaborating with them and you they must be just as great.

Pablo Rodriguez

Nice. Its like the Expendables of retro gaming.

You're in for a treat, these are all worthwhile if you're into LGR :)

LGR

Ha!

LGR

Geeze, I have the least impressive amount of stuff in the background... I mean, apart from Ross, but then he gets to live on a freaking space station. ;)

Kris Asick

I have no idea as to the topic, but recognising many of those faces means I'm super excited to see this one!

Troy Wilkins

The first computer you played Doom on (I think that's a memory for many people in the 90s) OR discussion on why you think PC took over most of the computer gaming market. I can't decide, *scratches beard*

BaudBand

This is going to be the most off-key rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody ever created.

nice!

Sina Farhat

Needs more Techmoan.... But I think that of every YouTube video.

Jason McMillon

I know! I know! Oh wait.. I'm supposed to keep my mouth shut!

The 8-Bit Guy

Immediately subbing to everyone on that screen that I'm not already. Also... You all collabed on that modern PC that you installed DOS on to make one that works for everyone?

Zem Hysong

A 12 Days of Christmas parody with all computer parts? "5 gigs of RAAAAAAAAM!"

3/9 unknown to me...time to discover new channels

Wait -- scratch that -- it's about Doom.

Jim Leonard

Yesss :D

Your first computer.

Steve Lovelace

Can't wait!!!

I only watched about half of these channels, but I always enjoy the 8-Bit Guy's restoration videos

David La Roche

Based on everyone in the snapshot, I'm assuming it's DOS VGA gaming in the 1990s.
