"Clucth"? wow..

Leon Woodley

It's a great game... For about 2 hrs. I can see my 14 YO self getting bored with it pretty quickly

Oh, I'm pretty sure I was totally was a pro at arrow keys at some point in my childhood. Just didn't use them for racers all that often is all :D

Lindsay Michelle

It's definitely not ideal :D But ever since I was a kid I played racers with a keyboard! Never had a gamepad or a wheel until much later, so I got very good with arrow keys

LGR

"you're winner!"

LGR

Well, when the main game has 500 or so, it's quite low :) But yeah, it's a neat option if you don't have an Xbox!

LGR

Bundles, or an outright purchase price for the whole thing, would be nice so long as they're priced accordingly. But then, most of the time they make more going this route :/

LGR

I do hope for more complete Xbox titles making it over to the PC! Just hoping it's not more cut-down silliness.

It is a huge bummer. That sense of customization, progression, and the connection with your cars in the full Forza 6 is phenomenal. I'd love that on PC someday.

While it's hard to complain about "free", this version of Forza is lacking in what I want from a racing game. I LOVE the whole idea of basically a car RPG where you start with low end cars, earn money, and then spend that money on either new cars or new parts for the car. Unfortunately, I don't know of any PC racing game that does that in the way Forza or Gran Turismo do it. I downloaded Forza 6 Apex, and while it's well done, it lacks any of the depth that I'm looking for. I'd be willing to pay for a REAL Forza game, but Microsoft would rather go the microtransaction route for PC. Bummer.

The most important question is: Does it have a Practice Mooooooooooode? Seriously, while it is having a rocky start with the Windows Store, Windows 10 exclusivity and micro-transactions; I think with new graphic cards costing half as the previous generation, the need for faster hardware life-cycles and Microsoft quietly migrating Xbox to Windows it sure looks good for the future of PC gaming 8^D

Certainly a little iffy on their whole turn-it-into-a-service model. I only hope they'll start bundling purchases together, as with that little amount of content, I'm not sure how successful it'll be.

Rob Caporetto

I'm sorry, but if a car game doesn't say 'prepare to quality' I just can't get interested in playing it.

"only 63 cars".......sonny, back in my day we only had ONE car and ONE track for the whole game and that's the way we liked it, dagnabit!! haha, just kidding (sort of) - this would be perfect for me since I dont have an xbox and I dont do driving games much so this small size would fit me well.

Funny thing is, I found it will install on one of the PCs here, but weirdly it's the weakest PC in the house - AMD Athlon II 620 x4, 6Gb RAM, nVidia GT 730... I do not have high hopes for it's performance on that system, I'm sure it would run much better on the Phenom II 955 x4 (overclocked to 4GHz), 8Gb RAM, GTX 570, but it won't install because nVidia have not released dx12 compatible drivers for the Fermi Architecture like they said they were going to before the end of last year...

Troy Wilkins

I'd be happy to try it out if it would install on my rig - but my 570 GTX doesn't support DX12, so it won't even install :(

Troy Wilkins

Playing with a car racer with a keyboard and mouse? I can't fathom that for some reason. Probably the only racer I played that way was like... Pole Position on the PC way back when, haha. A controller or a wheel for me, thanks. Otherwise, I gotta admit those rain effects are pretty sweet. :D

Lindsay Michelle

I would hardly call 2GB high. That's been pretty standard for several years now. The big thing keeping people from playing it is the DirectX 12 and Windows 10 requirement.

LGR

One thing you should mention is the high system requirements for Forza 6 Apex. You need at least 2 GB of VRAM or you'll have a bad time. I know it's not an issue for you as you have a top-end system, but still... This is going to hurt Forza's chances of success on PC even more than the free-to-play model.
