2015-12-04 02:28:21 +0000 UTCSpeaking in terms of the original, NiGHTS into Dreams was amazing every step of the way, not just for its gameplay but for its visuals, its audio, and in having a very subtle story with no dialogue. Heck, the music was modular and each segment was tied into how well the denizens of each level were doing, as their lives and happiness were tracked throughout all of your gameplay. The sequel on the Wii was about as subtle as a hammer to the face and was overcomplicated to a massive degree... didn't play too bad but after an hour of listening to bad voice acting and having story explanations I didn't need crammed down my throat I turned it off and never looked back. :P
