I had the chance to get that same Tetris board game new in box one day... didn't though. There's actually an even better head-to-head Tetris board game with plastic pieces and a randomizer spinner out there, but I've never seen one in person.

200 Dollars for a shitty samsung monitor? I would give them 20, because that is what samsung monitors are worth. At least every one I have ever seen was a piece of shit. The Picture was a disaster.

Oh man! I have that version of Carmen Sandiego on my Apple Mac! I loved that game! Plus I would love to own one of those Intellivision FlashBack machines. Instead I got the crappy 2003 TV game controller thing that has a lot of the sounds removed from it.

Aww man… I love the design of the Atari 1010 tape deck… so boxy (unlike the XL's). Nice find with the Intellivision Flashback as well - for some systems the dedicated ones like that are kinda nice. Hopefully the disc is a little nicer to use than on the original controller. Got the Colecovision one, which I've been enjoying (was a lucky find, but not that lucky) - hopefully the Intellivision one has a good mix of titles too :)

So Bethesda made a horse game.. I see what you- they did there [insert Horse Armor reference] And If those cameras were 18 dollars that was possibly the steal of the month, looks like they're in pretty good condition! Will you be demonstrating the Intellivision thingy? I'm kinda curious, even if the games are crap.

They wanted $200 for a monitor on a spin stand???? Get a cheap LCD with a VESA mount capability, pull it off its stand and pick up a desk clamp mount from Amazon for between $30 & $50. Most of them allow the monitor to tilt and spin however you like. Viola! ;)

Since you mentioned Strong Bad en passant: There's a new cartoon from 9/30/15. Oh yeah, and I grew up with that clock at the end. I remember it very vaguely from when I was 5.

I tried that too and it was pretty good. Still more of a PSL fan, though! I know... so typical white girl of me to say that. haha

Yeah, I quite like the Intellivision Flashback, just for those funky controllers being so accurate to the originals and even better in some ways, and the inclusion of brand new keypad overlays!

Inquiring minds want to know (well, at least my mind does) - what overpriced coffee drink did you buy in this video? I know I sometimes can't help but buy my own overpriced coffee, but hey, I've cut down recently! And I'm still fascinated by the fact Goodwill just put together a bundle of old cameras and sold them together... I mean, they're cool cameras but I find it weird they were all sold together... lol. Hope your brother likes them as much as you like that wood grain clock!

Goes pantsless into the wilderness of his backyard for shots for our sake. Glorious. Also as somebody in college to be a physicist all that lab equipment has made me just as geeky over random tech like that portable cassete recorder. If I recall all of the flashback consoles just include controllers that would function on the original console, a little lazy maybe but a fun excuse for licensed repros.
